A gem! We were greeted with extreme kindness, and enjoyed a lunch featuring traditional dishes, excellent ingredients, and perfect pairings. Definitely recommended!

We had a lovely lunch here with our group of five. It's a super cozy spot tucked away in the alleyways of Genoa. The service was fantastic! The lady who served us was incredibly friendly and went through the entire menu with us. She also told us about the origins of the ingredients and suggested fantastic wines. The dishes are light, simple, yet delicious and refined—all at great prices. The place itself was also incredibly cozy and felt like a wine cellar you wouldn't want to leave. This place is highly recommended in every way!

A small restaurant with several rooms, very simply and beautifully decorated. The food is excellent. The service is provided by two sisters who are as friendly and gentle as the cuisine they cook. Very affordable prices. 5 stars, I highly recommend it!!

Todo el mundo utiliza el término Gema Oculta para describir Genova y esta es una gema oculta dentro de la gema. Este era un lugar recomendado para el almuerzo y era uno de mis lugares favoritos. Creo que solo está abierto para el almuerzo. Grandes platos de Liguria. Muy simple, fresco y barato. Nuestra camarera era muy paciente con nuestros pobres conocimientos del idioma italiano y hablaba inglés muy bien. Ella me permitió probar el tripe, que yo quería probar, pero no quería un plato entero de tripe. ¡Volveré!

The staff is special: kind, attentive, and always available, capable of making guests feel at home. And then the host, with his warmth and attentiveness, manages to make the experience not just a dinner, but an evening to remember. The quality-price ratio is also excellent. This trattoria exudes passion and love for cooking. Highly recommended for those looking for an authentic place, far from the usual tourist spots, where they can feel truly pampered.
30/09/2025: In the heart of Carignano, a tranquil oasis just steps from the town center, lies the welcoming trattoria "Da Genio," where you can enjoy truly excellent traditional Genoese dishes. The anchovies stuffed with fried panissa, the ravioli with toccu sauce, and finally the delicious artisanal sacripantina are truly delicious. The service is friendly and welcoming, and the prices are reasonable. We'll be back soon to try their other specialties.

31/08/2025: We found this focaccia shop quickly on Google because we couldn't leave Genoa without taking a piece home. Unfortunately, we arrived late and there wasn't much choice. We also had plain focaccia (very good) the next day. Recommended!
28/08/2025: A small place, nestled in the center's alleys. Perfect for stopping for a quick bite if you're out for a stroll. The clerks were friendly and cheerful. The focaccia and pizza were mostly excellent, and the prices were moderately low (€8 for two, I couldn't believe it when they charged me). The only downside is there's no bathroom, but otherwise, it's just as good.
