Heartfelt thanks to the owner Nino and his staff. We ate very well, from starters to desserts, through to the wines. The name says it all, as if we were eating with friends. Highly recommended.

When we arrived we noticed that this neighborhood restaurant was full of local Italians. Always a good sign! Everyone was friendly and kind to us and we really enjoyed our meal. Everyone enjoyed their pasta! We recommend the fettuccini fungi.

Needed lunch after visiting the Holy Stairs! We walked by a few places that didn't seem too interesting. Luckily we turned the corner and found I Buoni Amici. Lunch was fabulous and well priced. Service was also quick and excellent. They were very busy with locals but we were seated within 10-minutes. This restaurant was a great find!!

06/12/2024: Excellent food, excellent service with maximum availability. Price a little high.
25/11/2024: Excellent place, simple but tasteful. As well as the dishes. Hot and crunchy vegetable fried food. The typical Roman dishes are excellent, from amatriciana to carbonara, etc. Good portions, excellent desserts made by them. And the donuts offered at the end of the meal. Good selection of wines.
