I was expecting more to be honest. The food was ok. We ordered the Risotto alla pescatora and ravioli al pomodoro, both of which exhibited uninspiring flavours and were somewhat undercooked (could have used an extra minute for "al dente"). At the time of our dinner at 7:30pm, the restaurant was empty with only a couple tables of tourists and no locals. I can only theorise that ownership or attitude has changed over the years as our experience was not in keeping with the older reviews.

We found this place on Google Maps. The place has a menu in Italian and English but the English description was pretty much faded due to time. The waiter was very patient with us although he didn’t speak much English, he was able to know what we wanted to order. The food was AMAZING! Would recommend to everyone and would love to come back!!

As per usual, we found this absolute gem of a restaurant on our last night in Rome.
The food was top notch & as others have mentioned, the locals eat here & that's one of the best places to go.
We had carbonara & were absolutely stuffed afterwards & at €9 each it was the best value for money meal we had in Rome. No rushing you off & a warm & relaxed atmosphere. If you're nearby, don't miss out on this fabulous little restaurant.

A lovely place to go, eat, and enjoy life. The food is really lovely, staff great, and the place is so chilled out and friendly. Good balanced menu, fair price. A proper roman restaurant. The tiramisu is fantastic! Enjoy

Osteria di altri tempi, dall’atmosfera genuina e accogliente. Piatti saporiti e ben curati: consiglio vivamente lo spaghetto alle vongole e i moscardini, davvero eccellenti. Peccato per la selezione di vini, un po’ limitata, ma nel complesso esperienza più che positiva. Promosso !

Locale semplice alla mano, ma estremamente accogliente. Cucina romanesca genuina e autentica come non se ne trovano piu'. Servizio cortese senza inutili smancerie. Consigliato.
