A wonderful place:
We stopped for a (late) lunch after exploring Brixen. The food is prepared with love and is delicious – just like the drinks (the apple juice is great, the beer is excellent, and the ice cream is award-winning). There's a playground for children, and the owner delighted our kids with his magic tricks. We highly recommend Hubenbauer and had a lovely afternoon there!

It's a very beautiful old building that has been newly renovated. Next door is the in-house brewery, which brews a variety of excellent beers. We went there for lunch with a group during the Törggelen (traditional German festive season). The food was good, but we had to wait a long time for both the drinks and the food, as I felt there were far too few staff for the number of guests. Furthermore, the waiters were unfriendly and very stressed. We wanted a second helping of the three-course Törggelen menu because it wasn't very extensive. We got one, but we were charged extra for the second helping when we paid.

It was a very surprising experience of food and hospitality. The maids were very helpful and available. We had two main courses of meat (roast pork and lamb with polenta), one pumpkin soap, two medium beers, and we spent 57 euros. Everything was delicious,
familiar and warm atmosphere. Good value for money.

Went here by bus for dinner, it was very nice and the home brewed beer 🍺 was simply great, the food was good but way too much [starter, meat bowl, dessert platter], would be better if there was a bit less and they refilled it, highly recommended

An authentic old farmhouse in a beautiful setting. The "Törggele" menu was very good and, of course, very nutritious. Served by a prompt and friendly wait staff. Add to that the wonderful ambiance of the old farmhouse. We'll definitely be back.

Fantastic restaurant!
Delicious food with great service and impressive, authentic architecture. All products are homemade from the farm, which is reflected in the variety of dishes. There's also a small refrigerator where you can purchase various homemade products, such as jams, bacon, and pickled vegetables. We highly recommend Hubenbauer!

We ate there with a group of 55 people. We had made a reservation, which is essential during the Törggelen season. The service was very good, with friendly staff, good food, and interesting beers. The prices are also perfectly reasonable. Our lost necklace was found and sent to us. Thank you, we'll be back sometime.

The days of the simple buschschän are long gone.
Now it's an excellent traditional restaurant open year-round, yet it has retained the atmosphere and conviviality of the old days. In the kitchen, they use local products, if not their own, or even their own livestock.
Excellent beers and ice cream, both made on-site.
It never disappoints!

I recommend the sour soup and the homemade sausage with sauerkraut. Accompanied by a homemade dark beer.
