Hotel Vela In Trento

The hotel is just over two kilometers from the city center, accessible by public transportation. It offers parking spaces, including covered parking, and its own restaurant. The overall facility could benefit from a refresh, but the rooms, all with bathrooms, are spacious and equipped with all comforts. Very friendly and helpful staff.

This is my third time here. Cheap, very nice staff.

This will obviously be a subjective review: It's a simple, very normal 3-star hotel. The building isn't the newest, nor is the furniture. There are certainly flaws that more expensive hotels won't have, but there's something about it that strikes you; I felt at home. The village is incredibly quiet, and walking around is a pleasure. The staff is always smiling, friendly, and multicultural. At dinner, there's a pleasant melting pot of cultures that I wasn't expecting. The food was highly appreciated, especially the Teroldego risotto. If I ever return to this area, I'll be happy to stay here again.

The only budget hotel in the area that allowed late-night check-in. After a phone call with the owner, he welcomed us at around 1 a.m. Breakfast was good, mostly cakes and sweets. We paid 90 euros for a double room.

The hotel is spotlessly clean, comfortable, and quiet. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The restaurant is very good, though the pizza isn't so great. Breakfast is plentiful. Recommended for short stays, especially with children.
