We spent a whole week in this modern, clean, and excellently managed property. The pool is truly relaxing, with a hotel bar ready to serve your drinks. Located less than a 5-minute walk from the tourist center of Tropea, which means you only need your car to get there and then leave it in one of the secure parking lots within the property. The shuttle service is also located within the property, taking you to the partner beach in just a few minutes. The sea is splendid, and you can eat excellently at the Alex beach club. A comfortable week filled with sea, food, and unmissable views!

Great services, far from beach, but they offer free bus to the beach including umbrella. Good restaurant, room OK, just very bad sound isolation between rooms, but it is problem of all hotels. WIFI 50Mbps on the room.

Very nice hotel that is just a few minutes away from downtown Tropea and the beach. Very friendly staff, good breakfast, free parking options and a beautiful big pool.

I stayed with my family at the Tropis Hotel and we had a great time. The location is convenient: just steps from the center but in a quiet area. The hotel is well-maintained, with clean rooms and a lovely pool. The breakfast is good and varied. The on-site parking is also very convenient, especially useful in a tourist destination like Tropea. The shuttle to the beach makes the car virtually unnecessary, and I only returned it at the end of my holiday. The gym (very functional) and spa are well-equipped. A special thanks to the staff, always kind and professional. Overall, a pleasant and relaxing stay.

Siamo stati alcuni giorni a Pasqua,posto curatissimo,location molto bella e accogliente Piscina molto bella e curata. Il personale della reception molto gentile e superpreparato,il ristorante è eccezionale,cibo cucinato veramente in maniera ottima e varia complimenti allo Chef,poi, anche il maitre molto gentile ,preparato, sempre pronto ad aiutarti con un consiglio,ed anche il suo staff . Le cameriere ai piani ,molto gentili e premurose. Hanno accettato il mio cane 🐕❤️. La location è in un ottima posizione ,si arriva in centro a piedi in 5 minuti. Ci torneremo senz'altro,👍🏻

Precioso hotel agradable con una buena habitación familiar. A solo 10 minutos a pie de la parte principal de la ciudad, así que una ubicación ideal. Lo único que faltaba era la calidad del desayuno de ahí las 4 estrellas. En general, un gran lugar para alojarse para explorar Tropea!

01/07/2025: An excellent restaurant for dinner in the area. Very pleasant atmosphere with a rustic taste. Not a very extensive menu but all the ingredients are top quality and fresh. Even the pasta seems to be homemade and not packaged. In particular, I recommend the tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms among the first courses, they really have an excellent overall balance. The pizza is no exception; the dough of the latter is really light with excellent leavening (zero digestion problems). Even for the pizza, very fresh ingredients are used. I recommend the "Tropeana", a perfect expression of the flavors of the area. This restaurant was my reference for three nights in a row, without making me feel the need to look for something else. Recommended. I will definitely return on my next stop in the area.
13/03/2025: We have been going to the Locanda three times now and every time it is a fantastic experience! Chef Rosario is always kind, creative and super available for our every need! The menu is a discovery of traditional Calabrian flavors accompanied at the same time by many other creative and innovative dishes from the chef. Finally, the impeccable service and the welcoming atmosphere make the Locanda the perfect place for a lunch or dinner with friends. In short: always a guarantee

La Locanda dei Sapori

13/05/2025: Classico posto in centro città , a due passi dal corso principale, dove ci si sente subito in famiglia, sala che richiama l’osteria, pulita e ben curata, accoglienza gentile. Si mangia a menù fisso con un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo (14 euro) o alla carta spendendo poco di più. Cibi della tradizione, stagionalità e territorio sono le caratteristiche del posto. Consiglio di andarci e di prenotare in anticipo.
01/04/2025: Cena informale, da solo o con amici o con colleghi di lavoro.... O in coppia se forestieri ed alla ricerca di gusti veri ed autentici... Mimmo e Lorenzo alla mano e sempre sorridenti e cordiali. Servizio rapido, ma se sei solo per lavoro (e se non c'è il pienone, cosa assai difficile...) puoi scambiare 2 chiacchiere parlando in simpatia... L'antipasto è speciale, la stroncatura, la fileja, lo stocco, la grigliata... Se ami la Calabria ami questa locanda!
