Hotel Tropis In Tropea

The rooms are absolutely classy, ​​and the staff is always ready to accommodate guests' requests. The location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk from the center of Tropea. Highly recommended, although the prices, especially in high season, aren't exactly cheap (even on Booking.com).

Beautiful and efficient structure

Accommodation is good, menu sounds good but is factually incorrect. Wine and food are mediocre to terrible. It's better to walk 10 minutes to Tropea and find a good trattoria.

Was traveling with a group, the place is very pretty and worthwhile-

We wanted a vacation this year so we didn't have to worry about food and we once saw Tropea from the boat and wanted to visit it. The hotel is nice, clean, with a beautiful large pool. Luckily we booked a Comfort room, i.e. spacious and with a terrace 👍 The food was delicious!! Really. We even experienced a Calabrian dinner once. All local specialties to taste in a buffet. Cleaning was enough for us every other day and was done honestly. The pool bar with a bit of "lazy" service. No one noticed us at the window for quite a long time. Don't order a bowl of seasonal fruit. You get an apple, a pear, an old orange and a knife to cut....for 4 Euros 🥴 Stefano mainly served us at dinner?? originally from Slovakia. Very helpful and smiling 🙃 The hotel is unfortunately mainly inhabited by German tourists. They are noisy, arrogant, a bit of a pig at the table, but their hard Euro makes up for everything. Unfortunately, the staff treated them that way. Very helpful and preferential. The staff (especially at the reception and at the food) was frowning and quite cold towards us. Even though we try to communicate in Italian, we don't ask for anything extra from them and we smile. You could order a transfer to and from the beach and pick up a ticket for free beach service. The guy who drove was great.
