Hotel Santa Margherita Palace Restaurant In Santa margherita ligure

Stumbled upon this cafe when I was dragging my luggage through town, couldn’t find my hotel, and my phone battery was almost dead. The barista was so kind. I asked for an outlet and he showed me to the phone charging station! He then proceeded to kindly make an espresso for me. I sat and rested while I watched many jovial people (seemingly regulars) come and go for drinks and snacks. After a bit I ordered a sandwich and the barista’s mother made it for me. Grilled brie and ham on a tasty baguette. I noticed they also store luggage which is an added bonus.

I like the location, tucked away from the waterfront options and easy to get to. The person who served me was courteous and very proactive. I hadn't noticed the terrace, which is delightful and welcoming; she suggested it. Plus, the appetizer platter made me think of an aperitif lunch. Have a nice day everyone!!!
