Once a restaurant frequented by truck drivers and people on business trips...now prices have increased...higher level

I stayed overnight on the weekend of 5/6 October with my family (6 people for three rooms). Two ladies welcomed us, the "largest" was a cumbersome presence who followed our every movement in the day and a half we stayed, remaining next to us at check in, present in the hall every time we went out and came back and staying in the breakfast room the next morning for no apparent reason. Instead, the second lady, the one who checked us in, seemed almost disturbed by our presence, answering our legitimate questions in a cold and uncourteous way. In fact, on the site, the standard rooms are described with "heating and hairdryer", well, the hairdryer can be requested at reception according to availability since the structure has few of them to deliver and it cannot be taken the night before for the next morning (assuming that a customer comes down in his pajamas to get the hairdryer and proceed to the shower)....but what was even more surreal was the response given when we asked for the remote control for the air conditioner: "it's not a period. It's given in the room only when it's period". It is not known what is meant by period, and it is not understandable that they know how a customer can feel cold or hot in the rooms. From here, the rooms on the 3rd floor are poorly maintained and clean, with small oversights that do not justify the price per night (75!). The suite, evidently recently refurbished, is truly very beautiful and well finished (even if the floor-level shower allowed us to be completely flooded) and can be sold at the standard price. In the evening we had dinner in the really elegant and well-kept restaurant, so much so that it made us think that they were two different managements. Good menu and generous portions. Courteous and 'delicate' staff, even if prices are high for a standard hotel restaurant. The next morning, to welcome us, in addition to the elderly lady from the day before (sigh!) there was a very kind and courteous man who took care of our hot order and greeted us for check out. Strategic location for travellers, right at the motorway exit with supermarkets, dairies, McDonald's and bars right next to it and also a small shopping center 5 minutes away by car. For the same reason, however, we slept badly because late at night, trucks of suppliers from the surrounding businesses "celebrated" with continuous horns and useless shouts. It should be "sold" as a short-term hotel for passing travelers (or truckers) and not as a hotel beyond two stars.

Every time I go down I calculate the time until at least lunch or dinner I stop there, the food is very tasty, the environment is nice and very clean, the staff are very friendly, excellent value for money, I recommend it to everyone I'm writing to confirm five stars for some time now and luckily it hasn't happened twice in a week. I prefer to spend a little more out of pocket but at least I eat tasty food in a decent place

Good evening, I had a mechanical problem on August 20th, with my daughter, we were welcomed in an EXCELLENT way by the owner and the collaborator, who helped me find a solution to my problem in no time (at 10.00 pm). We slept in a 5 star hotel room (I'm not exaggerating) very clean, spacious and very comfortable in every detail: we also had a simple dinner with lots of courtesy and excellent quality of the products. A causa di un'emergenza con la nostra auto, abbiamo dovuto cercare una sistemazione a Caianello e qui ci hanno accolto con gentilezza e disponibilitá. Abbiamo pernottato in una delle suite: camera moderna, molto ampia e curata con una grande attenzione ai dettagli (diffusori profumati, frigo-bar con tutto il necessario, bagno spazioso). Inoltre, in zona è l'UNICO hotel che accetta cani (i tre precedenti che avevo contattato mi hanno risposto con un "no" secco, nonostante abbiamo un cane di soli 5 kg). E ora arriviamo a quella che è stata la scoperta piú sorprendente: la cucina dello chef Costantino. Negli hotel che offrono servizio ristorante in cui siamo stati durante i nostri viaggi, abbiamo trovato un tipo di cucina buona ma semplice (soprattutto in hotel come questo che, trovandosi all'uscita dell'autostrada, ha tra i suoi clienti molti camionisti): qui invece la cucina è di altissimo livello, grazie ad uno chef giovane ma che ha basi solide e i cui piatti denotano tanto studio e sperimentazione. So che il menù cambia spesso in base alla stagionalità, ma se vi capita di passare di lí in questo periodo, dovete assolutamente assaggiare il "Bacalao cbt con gel di frutta" e i vari secondi di carne cotti alla perfezione. Ottimo il servizio, grazie alla professionalità e gentilezza dei camerieri (ancora grazie al mitico Antonio!). Insomma, un hotel 3 stelle ma con una cucina che merita 2 stelle in piú. Siamo talmente soddisfatti che abbiamo deciso sará nostra tappa fissa per "spezzare" i nostri viaggi da Genova alla mia terra di origine.
