Hesitant about the low price, we were instead surprised to find a more than decent room, a textbook welcome, and impeccable service at dinner with excellent quality dishes and good wine. The staff was young, attentive, and friendly. The location was excellent, two kilometers from Arma di Taggia, which we cyclists easily reached by bike, then took the Imperia-Ospedaletti cycle path. The hotel overlooks the town's main square, a truly beautiful medieval village with delightful little restaurants lining the internal streets. One last positive note: free parking in a closed courtyard. In short, everything was perfect for those, like us, who care about substance rather than luxury.

We stayed three nights at this hotel in the center of Taggia. We were impressed by the helpfulness and courtesy of the owner and all the staff. We chose half board and were satisfied with both the breakfast and dinner, which were always plentiful and included delicious first, second, and dessert.

It's a 1-star hotel, so you can't expect air conditioning, an elevator, or a breakfast buffet. But we're pleased with the excellent room cleaning, with daily towel and sheet changes. A fan makes up for the lack of air conditioning, and the room is spacious. The owner is extremely helpful. Well done!!!
