Delicious pastries and very friendly staff

A culinary experience in a class of its own! I was completely impressed by the Hotel Ristorante Pasticcheria Sombrero in Licata! As soon as you enter the pasticheria, you'll notice the fantastic selection of cakes - everything looked and tasted incredibly delicious. A paradise for those with a sweet tooth! The service in both the pasticheria and the restaurant was extremely friendly, attentive and helpful - you immediately feel welcome. Dinner was a real highlight. The selection of antipasti misti was impressive – varied and deliciously prepared. The linguine à la Langosta was perfectly cooked, the sauce was slightly spicy, nicely tomatoey and wonderfully balanced. The recommended white wine went perfectly with it: mild, not too dry – a pleasure! The meat dish was also convincing across the board: juicy, perfectly cooked and with delicate roasted aromas. The fries that came with it were wonderfully tender on the inside and crispy on the outside - as they should be. A thoroughly enjoyable experience – we will definitely be back!
