During the journey home, all I could think about was how much I was going to miss Gianni Vinni. We were in Bologna from Friday to Monday and ate at Gianni Vinni every day. Perfect coffee, great paninis, great aperitifs. A really wonderful atmosphere at any time of day :-)

If you are looking for the true heart of Bologna, you must visit Gianni Vini. The first thing you notice is the incredible kindness of the people working here. The staff treats everyone like a regular, offering the warmest hospitality I’ve experienced in the city. They are genuinely friendly, patient, and more than happy to share their passion for what they serve. As for the taste, everything is exceptional. Whether it’s a morning pastry or the savory snacks served with your drink, the quality of the ingredients is evident. However, the standout is the perfect wine selection. The taste of their local pours is exquisite—rich, authentic, and served at the perfect temperature. It is rare to find a place that balances such high quality with such a welcoming, human touch. A 10/10 experience for anyone who appreciates great wine and even better company!

I can't even begin to express my love for Gianni Vini. For me, Gianni Vini is the best place in all of Bologna. From breakfast to aperitivo, I would happily spend every day there. The coffee is incredibly delicious, and the Aperol Spritz is divine, as are the accompanying snacks. All the staff are incredibly friendly, warm, and competent, making you feel welcome and ensuring you receive excellent service and advice. I highly recommend that everyone in Bologna go there; you won't be disappointed! I will miss it terribly!

We had aperol and hugo spritz, the best I've tasted so far. Also, appetizers were very good. Can't recommend this place enough
