Abbiamo ordinato polenta concia( piatto della tradizione) e antipasti caldi e freddi. Abbiamo costatato che la croce bianca è sempre una garanzia come servizio e menù.

Servizio molto valido e cordiale . Noi abbiamo mangiato il tortino di zucca e fonduta ,la polenta concia e il stracotto di fassona. Il tortino era spettacolare,anche la polenta molto buona e lo stracotto molto morbido. L’unica peccata riscontrata è stato trovare i bicchieri con varie macchie ma niente di così irreparabile. Torneremo sicuramente.

Mea Culpa Crema&Cioccolato

08/02/2025: A place that stands out among many, one attached to the other, first for its size between inside and outside and second for its aesthetic location. All glassed in so you can enjoy the landscape outside Lake Viverone 🏞 Arriving shortly after lunch time around 2.00pm we looked at the menu 📓 with some delicacies and costs I must say were quite honest. First little problem… the wait! It wasn't very long but after waiting 25'/30' minutes just to sit down, we noticed that just before inviting us to sit down they had let a couple pass in front of us (those who had actually arrived there a few minutes earlier in the queue)... but there could be a mistake, the important thing is to have sat down and started eating. Let's take a Roast-Beef 🥩 with rocket and cherry tomatoes around €9.50, an octopus 🐙 with potatoes €10 and a "pinsa" 🍕 with Bresaola flakes of parmesan 🧀. At which the girl who handled the orders in the DEHORS (VERY KIND AND SUPER HELPFUL) warns that the octopus is finished, then corrects herself and says that perhaps there is something left (but she has to ask the kitchen for confirmation). Moral of the story, we wait for the dishes to arrive and in addition to discovering that for the entire table service, no oil or salt was put in 🧂, we send the octopus 🐙 back because only a plate full of potatoes 🥔 with 3/4 small pieces of octopus arrive. Rightly, seeing dishes at the nearest tables, it was not our intention to remain silent and not point this out... Instead of the latter dish, we take a Valle d'Aosta pinsa which arrives at our table in a very short time. Here I would like to break down in favor of the place the quality of the focaccia or rather "pinsa" which was not "00" flour but certainly one made of semolina or buckwheat. However very, very good 💯 We continue our lunch, I abstain from dessert but we ask for a cone 🍦 to take away. I can confirm that I kept seeing many very beautiful and very inviting 🍨 ice cream sundaes pass before our eyes. The dimensions of the cones were very demanding, the quality of the toilets was decent (considering the full capacity). I think 4 ⭐️ stars are more than deserved. A bit of confusion between the girls in the room and at the counter, a wine cellar 🍷 SPECTACULAR where I posted the photo. Will I go back? Who knows, he's certainly with some friends or in a group. 😉

Pizzeria Ristorante S. Giacomo

14/03/2025: Not many people in the room but pizza absolutely top!!!!
22/02/2025: A bit of a retro place, it seemed to be open just for us, in fact there were no other customers, too bad. I found the pizza very good, just know that it is thin and crunchy, not the Neapolitan type. Maybe the pizza dough was a little salty (you realize later, how thirsty you feel for hours). Very young waiter, but kind, polite and professional. The rooms are not very hot, but are heated by pellet stoves. I think I will return for sure, then the external location is really beautiful and worth visiting. To park there are large free car parks and then a few minutes on the funicular (which is free) and you're there. It's a very short walk from the car park to the pizzeria.
