Nothing special, nothing special. Service a bit slow considering the place was packed. Good plate of polenta. Excellent bread, cold cuts

An enchanting place with immense potential. The day was perfect: breathtaking nature, clean air, great company. We chose a welcoming-looking inn and, fortunately, the cuisine lived up to expectations, with delicious desserts and a service in the dining room by attentive and friendly waiters, whom I sincerely thank. Unfortunately, the experience was partly compromised by a less than warm welcome from the owner, whose presence in the dining room seemed more of a hindrance than a support to the good work done by the rest of the staff. A smile, sometimes, is worth as much as a good dish. And in a context where hospitality should be at home, it is sad to note how much the lack of kindness can weigh. Too bad. The place really deserves better.

Excellent experience along the Oropa path, everything perfect from the room, to the dinner and finally the excellent breakfast.

I had lunch today at this inn. Tried the tasting menu. It's been a long time since I tasted such good dishes. It was a pleasant surprise. Typical starters and main courses, homemade desserts and fantastic 7-grain bread. Even though it was crowded the service was impeccable. Well done!!!

Cibo discretamente buono, servizio molto molto lento e disorganizzato- Peccato perché il locale è molto carino e le polente meritano!

Trout in carpione 5 stars. Normal polenta concia 3 stars (personally I find it tastier in Oropa) Polenta concia with gorgonzola 4 stars (even if you pay 15 euros, 50% more). Bis of polenta.. not provided (they arrive with ready meals not with the pot) Spaghetti and/or long pasta is not on the menu. Trofie with sausage sauce 5 stars. Mixed antipasto platter and cheeses with onion sauce 4 stars. Friendliness 2 stars. Updated February 15, 2025 Chocolate salami: two slices very often: good Polenta gorgonzola and egg good! For the Restaurant Nice, welcoming mountain atmosphere. Excellent food, alpine/popular style, ancient flavors, abundant. Warm and smiling service. I will return.

Michelle ci ha accolti col sorriso fin dalla prima telefonata e ha continuato ad essere una meravigliosa oste per tutto il nostro soggiorno. Stefano ha cucinato cene prelibate, piatti meravigliosi al gusto e alla vista. Abbiamo passato insieme a loro piacevoli serate giocando a risiko, con suggerimenti strategici 😉! Camere spaziose, calde, accoglienti, confortevoli, pulite… la posizione è perfetta per raggiungere le piste da sci in pochi minuti di macchina e per camminate nella natura. Consigliatissimo!
