Nice 3 star house in a dream location

Had a great time there three times already and it won't be the last time.

We highly recommend the Hotel Amaten. A wonderful location with a fantastic view, very friendly staff, and delicious breakfast and dinner. There's a wellness area, but due to our activities outside, we didn't have time to try it out and enjoy it. Perhaps next time. It's supposed to be very nice, though. Enjoying the sun on the terrace with an Aperol, etc., is simply wonderful! The rooms were spacious and clean. We'd be happy to come back.

Oh yes... Location: Pure nature!!! Food: Super delicious and tasty. Highly, highly recommended! Service: The family and entire team are very friendly and helpful.

Definitely worth recommending. We spent ten wonderful days here in September 2025. Beautiful room, great service, no wish left unfulfilled. The wellness area is a great place to relax tired legs from hiking. Half board is highly recommended; the breakfast buffet is fantastic, and the dinners are delicious. 👍 Great area, very diverse for hikers. Easily accessible by car.

Family-run hotel. Very friendly hosts. Even an extra room due to illness was easily accommodated. Many thanks also to the kitchen for the excellent food every day. 😋 Great view of Bruneck and the Kronplatz square. Après-ski is about a 20-minute drive away. K1, for example. We'd love to come back in two years. 🤗

A nice weekend in a quiet place, very welcoming and kind staff

A bit isolated from the center of Brunico, it offers a panoramic view of the city. The rooms are a bit dated, with carpeting. Unfortunately, ours didn't have a balcony, but it had two small windows on the ceiling, with shutters that let in the light early in the morning, making it difficult to sleep. The breakfast was very varied, with both sweet and savory options, featuring homemade products. Dinner was excellent, with a buffet at the beginning. The staff was kind and friendly. There's also a stable outside, which they own, and you can visit it. A small spa with a sauna and Turkish bath, and a nice but renovated hot tub. Overall, a good price and worth considering if you're nearby.

We've been coming to the Hotel Amaten for almost 40 years and loved the original rooms – today we especially appreciate the beautiful new suites. They are spacious, tastefully furnished, and offer significantly more luxury than you'd expect from a 3-star superior hotel. The family that owns the hotel is three generations old and incredibly dedicated and welcoming. You can feel the love and passion they put into the hotel everywhere – you immediately feel welcome here. A big compliment also to the cleaning team: Everything is immaculately maintained, spotlessly clean, and sparkling. There are plenty of opportunities for children to let off steam – whether at the playground, at the ping-pong table, or with the animals. Many beautiful hikes start directly from the hotel grounds, making the location perfect for actively immersing yourself in nature. The culinary offerings are a real highlight: a perfect breakfast in the morning, providing energy for the day, varied menus and buffets in the evening, and service that is not only professional but also exceptionally warm and attentive. The selection of drinks – from beer to excellent wines to delicious schnapps – perfectly rounds off the experience. In short: The Hotel Amaten has been a piece of home in the mountains for us for decades, and we highly recommend it to everyone!
