The Magic Mountain! A wonderfully family-run hotel with a correspondingly warm and welcoming atmosphere. Savor the flavors and take your time. The kitchen operates at a top level, offering fantastic regional dishes and local specialties. The rooms are impeccably maintained, very modern, and extremely comfortable. Most requests go unanswered. The service is impeccable and friendly. The highlight is the incredible view of the Rosengarten in the Dolomites. A place just as Thomas Mann described it. Culture, soul, and body are nurtured here. I'd love to return. Come as a guest and leave as a friend.

The food is very good, but the price-performance ratio is completely off. Overpriced for the poor service. An exceptional spot, a great lawn with a fantastic view of the Schlern mountain... Very nice if you can sit outside. Simple tables, like in the old days – the owners have hardly invested in modernization: that can have its own charm.

Spectacular view over the Dolomites. Great food (we only ate, never slpet there), excellent choice also for a drink at sunset. Easy to reach by car or via the Freud promenade, it is a must in Renon

30/01/2026: We were in Merano to visit the Flower Festival and had lunch at this typical Tyrolean restaurant. We enjoyed typical South Tyrolean dishes, and the beers were fantastic. There are two floors for both lunch and dinner. The restaurant has a well-stocked bar. Reservations are recommended, as the restaurant is very popular and popular. It is located right in the historic center of the city under the famous historic arcades. The staff was very courteous and helpful in accommodating all our special requests.
