Truly one of the best restaurants we discovered during our nearly three-month trip around Lazio. Traditional dishes with an authentic, almost old-world flavor—the buffalo mozzarella stew with tomato sauce is memorable. All this, to our surprise, was served on a fixed-price menu for just €15. The welcome was also remarkable: the father was in the kitchen, while the mother and son waited tables and entertained guests with kindness and discretion. There was, however, one detail that left us frankly perplexed: the walls were covered with images of Il Duce and posters from the Fascist era. A detail that, it seems, didn't bother the rest of the diners in the slightest.

I was passing through Latina and stumbled upon this family-run osteria. Aside from the pleasant journey back in time, admiring the walls filled with history from the last century, I had the opportunity to savor Roman cuisine accompanied by the warmth and kindness of Matteo and Maria. At the end of lunch, I also met chef "Silviano," who came to say hello and whom I thanked for introducing me to flavors I'd probably only experienced at my grandmother's. Highly recommended for anyone near Latina who wants to eat Roman cuisine and spend the right "15 euros."

Excellent trattoria-pizzeria, a real surprise. Every day, they offer a fixed-price lunch menu for €15, which includes a first course, a second course with side dish, a small bottle of water, and a quarter of wine: truly excellent value. Today I had orecchiette with pumpkin cream and roasted pancetta, truly well-made and flavorful, followed by a tender and delicious buffalo mozzarella stew. I also tried, off-menu, a mountain antipasto with quality prosciutto and a Roman-style tripe, both excellent. The menu changes daily and is always varied: today, for example, there was also amatriciana, pasta and beans, and penne with cream and sausage, so there's truly something for everyone. The atmosphere is welcoming and familiar, and the food is truly excellent, with simple yet refined cuisine. It's currently open for lunch. Highly recommended for those looking for good food, generous portions, and fair prices. I'll definitely be back.
