Hostaria Lupo Di Mare In Terracina

Lured in by the set menu for just €20, I have to say it was a surprise: good, fresh food, and one of the places still with affordable prices in Terracina! We'll be back.

I stopped in by chance, not knowing where to stop. I ordered a €20 menu per person with an appetizer (crostini with salmon carpaccio), a first course (gnocchi allo scoglio), and a fried dish. Good food, quick service, and obviously small plates (especially the appetizer), but given the price, that's understandable. All in all, I paid for what I ate, which is fair enough. Nothing to write home about.

I was with my husband this evening in this place, people complain for no reason, don't read the negative reviews... kind staff Michele the owner, great professionalism and very kind, seafood appetizer too good spaghetti with clams and I mean lots of clams, very good, rice with delicate scampi cream and good fresh bottled wine.. everything perfect... don't listen to the gossip, try it, I will return, for me it's worth a thousand, and I tell you in the center of Terracina the prices should be sky-high but here in addition to the quality the price will shock you, vote a thousand

Five of us had dinner there for two nights. Everything was delicious. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommended.

Today, after a morning in Naples for a medical appointment, and since it was pouring with rain, we decided to head back home and pop into Terracina for some delicious seafood. And it worked! We met Michele and his "Lupo di Mare" for the first time! First of all, the place is welcoming, not large but with attention to every detail. Then, the helpfulness and friendliness of Michele and his staff make it clear how passionate they are about their work, and that alone is saying a lot! We ate fish, of course. There's also a meat menu, with appetizers and first courses, both bearing the house "Lupo di Mare" trademark. The appetizer is rich and plentiful, easily enough for two people, the fish is incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection. And what about the "tonnarelli alla Lupo di Mare"? Simply delightful to the eye and the palate, a triumph of seafood with tonnarelli, the photos you see don't do it justice! "So much!" We'll definitely be back, because the mixed fried fish and grilled fish were also very much worth it, even though we couldn't eat them due to the abundance of the appetizer and first course. A tip: choose either the appetizer and first course, or the appetizer and second course, for the quality and generosity of the dishes. Great suggestions on the wine list! Thank you, Michele, and it's a pleasure to have met you as a person, very affable and honest, and as a restaurateur, competent and always ready to give "the right" advice! Finally, the price? Great place. We were there a year ago - everything was great! They did a renovation - it became even better

Delicious, soulful and atmospheric. I liked both the food and the service. The portions are large, the local wine is excellent. This is the second time here, so I recommend it.

We returned to Terracina for the holidays, and the first thing I did was book a table at the usual place. "Usual place" is an understatement...! Lupo di Mare has once again confirmed itself as the restaurant I would recommend to anyone! The food is fresh and truly well-cooked, with a balance of all the ingredients... as well as the attention to detail in the composition of the dishes, which exceeds all expectations and, in my opinion, is of a higher standard than the more well-known Michelin-starred restaurants in the area! I don't want to make any comparisons, but the dishes and their deliciousness are far SUPERIOR to the others, and the prices are surprisingly lower!! I've read comments "complaining" about the large portions... but welcome! I'm of the school of thought that I go to a restaurant to please the chef, who pleases me with his dishes! A hungry Lupo goes to Lupo di Mare to be delighted by its excellent and abundant food...!! Finally, a special mention also goes to the dining room staff... knowledgeable and extremely kind! But above all, I noticed that they know the "language" of cutlery... Arabic in other restaurants! Congratulations indeed.... you're moving up a level every year! Daniele GELFUSA

Siamo tornati nuovamente in questo locale a distanza di un po' di tempo e posso dire che abbiamo mangiato benissimo. Il menù fisso è stato molto soddisfacente. Gli gnocchetti allo scoglio gustosissimi. Frittura di pesce leggera e saporita . Personale gentile e disponibile. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo. Lo consiglio vivamente.
