We went to this restaurant to celebrate a family gender reveal. What can I say, everything was perfect: the place is small, but very intimate and welcoming. The food is DELICIOUS!! I tried the pear and gorgonzola parcels that I still dream about. As for the staff, they were simply delightful: young and attentive, they pampered us and helped us with the cake surprise.
Definitely a place I would return to! I want to say that we came here on purpose from Rome. It was well deserved!

I had lunch at this place with my wife, what a wonderful time we had. Good food, cozy atmosphere, fair price. This place is a “must” when visiting Viterbo

Intimate, rustic atmosphere, excellent, and courteous service. We ordered two steaks with a side of chicory, a sweet and a bitter house liqueur, preceded by three bruschettas with Colonnata lard. Everything was excellent, except the portions were a bit small.

A wonderful osteria that we discovered by chance, just below our b&b. Food was great and reasonably priced, service was excellent and the atmosphere perfect. Going again tomorrow!

For people like me, "Lo Spito" (the spit) isn't just a name, but an evocative object, reminiscent of a childhood spent with family in front of the fire.
An evocative name, just like this place, nestled like a precious stone within the historic walls of a medieval townhouse.
A small restaurant where the rooms intersect between the wooden beams of the ceilings and the arches of an old warehouse.
The atmosphere reflects a profound attention to detail, to the past, and to our history.
The menu isn't overly extensive, but it's well-stocked, allowing you to enjoy traditional dishes in a cozy, welcoming, almost family-like atmosphere.
Prompt and courteous service.
Excellent value for money.
