Excellent first courses and excellent first courses in general, we only had first courses also because the portions are very generous.

We had the pleasure of dining at Hosteria La Perla Nera in San Felice Circeo, and the experience was overall excellent. The quality of the ingredients is undeniable: fresh, carefully selected, and expertly showcased in every course. The handmade gnocchi with scampi cream are a true house specialty, delicate and refined, as is the scampi cream risotto, expertly prepared. The staff stands out for their courtesy and attention to detail, contributing to the impeccable service. The only drawback is the restaurant's location near a busy road, where noisy motorcycles can sometimes disturb the quiet. However, this is an external factor, independent of the restaurant itself, and does not detract from the overall quality of the dining experience. The high-quality cuisine and attentive service make the prices fully justified. This restaurant is certainly worth a visit and, without a doubt, a second chance to enjoy other delicacies.

Excellent dishes, highly recommended!

I had a scampi cream risotto for 2 p. and a mixed fried fish for 1 p. very good for transport, food quality 10, very beautiful location 2 steps from the sea, very kind and patient staff I recommend it!

As is my custom, I haven't deleted the previous review, which you can find below. We returned to this restaurant after a wonderful experience last year. We ordered an excellent bottle of sparkling Müller Thurgau from the Ca' Bolani winery. Instead of appetizers, we went straight to the first course... fettuccine with clams and pistachio pesto, spaghetti with seafood, and gnocchi with seafood. It's impossible to say which first course was the best; everything was expertly and expertly prepared in generous portions. Not satisfied, I ordered the appetizer consisting of a trio of salmon, whitebait, and marinated anchovies. Good, not exceptional. The lemon delicacies were excellent. In conclusion, our expectations were more than met, and we will definitely return. We happened to pass by this restaurant at dinnertime, and it was a pleasant surprise. Our dog, Leo (a miniature poodle), was also with us. We had fried baby octopus, spaghetti with clams (very genuine), seafood gnocchi, grilled swordfish (very fresh), and a good bottle of sparkling Müller Thurgau. At the end of the meal, they offered us a delicious lemon sorbet. Even though we hadn't booked and the restaurant was very busy, the service was excellent. We'll be back.

I had a great time, the staff was friendly and helpful. The food was very good.

Good dinner, perhaps a little pricey. It's a taverna, so there aren't many dishes to choose from, as is only right. Service was a little slow, but they apologized for the delay in bringing out the appetizers. Overall, a positive evening.

Locale alla mano con una cucina di alta qualità. Da provare il risotto alla crema di scampi, erano anni che non ne mangiavo uno cosi buono. Ci torneremo.

Siamo stati in questo locale per la prima volta e ci siamo trovati benissimo . L'ambiente è familiare e accogliente ,il personale gentilissimo. Raffaele si è offerto di accompagnarci in albergo perché pioveva e non avevamo l'ombrello,credo che difficilmente si possano trovare persone così gentili e disponibili. Gli spaghetti con le vongole e i paccheri del nostromo squisiti. Consigliamo vivamente questo locale e ci torneremo con piacere.
