We had a spectacular meal here. Probably the best meal we had in 3 weeks travelling through Italy. Everything is impeccable, from the traditional Friulian food to the lovely wines and beautiful service. An absolute delight.

Frico PHENOMENAL!!!
The goulash starter was no exception. It was the most interesting culinary experience I've had in Trieste. The staff was also incredibly friendly.
I can't wait to stop by again.

I'm amazed how one person can manage a place so well, sometimes they can't even manage it like that with 10 people, the lady is very good, abundant food, modest prices, well-arranged tables! Recommended!

A traditional osteria, from the location to the dishes.
Booked shortly before our stay in Trieste (reservations required).
Simple, generous, and extremely good dishes. As I told the owner, it's a "no-frills" osteria. Special mention goes to the Blecs with courtyard ragù, which was fabulous. Don't expect gourmet plating or a charming location; what matters is the dish, the flavor, and the respect for ingredients and traditions, and this osteria perfectly embodies these values.
Also noteworthy is the value for money.
I would only make a small suggestion regarding the choice of bread: artisanal bread is preferred.
We'll definitely be back.

This very elegant restaurant next to the theater serves excellent traditional Trieste and Friuli dishes. Highly recommended.

My favourite meal in Trieste. Finally some authentic Friuli cuisine, at extremely reasonable prices to boot. Had the cjarsons in a butter ricotta sauce and then frico, and both were outstanding. Even the nutty bread was amazing.

We spent our Christmas lunch with our family at this beautiful restaurant... The hostess was truly kind and welcoming. All the dishes were absolutely superb, probably the best we've tasted in our five days in Friuli Venezia Giulia. The prices were absolutely fair, and we were surprised by this, as everyone usually takes advantage of them at Christmas.
We'll definitely be back on our next trip!
