Because we had a reservation, a friendly lady sat us down. She brought us a handwritten menu, which apparently changes frequently. We chose a plate of cured meats and cheeses, as well as gnocchi with goulash 'picante' and ravioli with montasio cheese in pear sauce. The dishes were excellent and the house white and red wines went well with them. Despite the full hall, she was quick and professional, and the prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend a visit

Welcoming place and very friendly staff. Very good and well-presented food. The only downside is the price of the bulk wine, which I found a bit high, although it's good, but still bulk.

Eravamo in visita al castello di Miramare, io ed i miei 2 figli e abbiamo telefonato, a caso, per prenotare pranzo dopo circa mezz'ora : la signora al telefono gentilissima, ci ha spiegato come raggiungere il locale, dicendo che ci avrebbe tenuto il tavolo senza problemi. Locale bellissimo, caratteristico, situati davanti al teatro di Triste : cibi squisiti, porzioni giuste. Cameriera gentile, discreta e disponibile nel fornire spiegazione a chi come noi non ne sapeva nulla della cucina triestina. Assolutamente da ritornare quando saremo nuovamente in zona : complimenti, promossi con il massimo dei voti. Gulash e frico sensazionali.

Abbiamo cenato in questo locale storico che offre cucina tipica friulana. Servizio cortese e rapido e buona la cucina. Molto buona anche l’offerta senza glutine.
