Very good. Little to add. Perfect hospitality, food and environment. Prices not for all budgets but absolutely adequate for the quality of the food they offer. I go back every time I want to make a good impression on someone and I want to treat myself to an excellent dinner. Well done.

Best pasta since the start of our stay in Italy. Fettucini with black garlic and pistachio. A real delight! We shared the dish and the cook prepared two lovely small individual portions. Thank you 😍🇮🇹♥️

Pensavamo ad una Osteria ma è stata una sorpresa, in cucina devono aver nascosto uno chef stellato (non lo abbiamo visto...). Abbiamo mangiato piatti diversi ed ognuno di questi aveva un tocco di speciale da renderlo unico. Nulla lasciato al caso nonostante accoglienza e ambiente da "Osteria". Il prezzo ? Non basso ma non alto per quello che ci è stato servito. Tornerei ? Mille volte si, siamo stati veramente bene !

This was recommended to us by our Airbnb host and it did not miss! Not only is it a nice little resto with a neat interior, but the wait staff were really nice and attentive! Also I should mention that we arrived slightly before opening and they still went out of their way to seat us and begin taking our order. This was my 2nd spot for one of four classic roman pastas and at this location I got the Amatriciana. Amatriciana - A delicious (DELICIOUS) sauce where the tomatoes and guanciale stood out heavily while also wonderfully creamy and thick to coat all the pasta. It was sweet and savory. Just a beautiful sauce truly. The pasta for me was slightly undercooked (another 2mins would've gotten it al dente) but the sauce more than made up for it. 4.5/5 (I gave them an overall score of 5 for food despite the rating because a slight undercooked pasta happens but with a sauce that stands out the way it does, it wasn't worth penalizing them when they more than likely cook a perfect al-dente 99.9% of the time) Octopus - Cooked nicely where the meat was tender and had a good texture. Not much can be said as its a dish that stands alone and speaks for itself. It's either cooked well or over/undercooked. 5/5 Overall this is a perfect spot for dinner and should be checked out if you're aiming to nail one of the four classic roman pastas. Would definitely try again when in Rome.

We had always missed this restaurant near Alberone, despite it being an area we often frequent. The step was short and here we are. The place is small and has the features of a typical Roman hosteria. The staff was immediately ready to bring us water, wine, bread and a mini welcome of gorgonzola and celery. Optimal!!! The food arrived and the starters arrived within a very reasonable time... Delicious!!! The first courses to follow were, if anything, even better than the starters. The strong but delicate flavors blended very well on the palate. But... Yes, there is a but... It's fine that the appetizers must be appetizers as the name suggests, but putting 10-20 grams of pasta more in the first courses, WITH THE SAME SEASONING, would not have bankrupted the restaurant, and would have satisfied us much more! Sin... For this reason, despite the 5 stars everywhere, in general, I feel like giving one star less overall.

Too bad we can't add more stars. Wonderful experience, very kind and super helpful staff. We were amazed by the excellent cuisine, what made me go crazy the most was the Gricia, the best of all, like everything else, then the fried calamari, FABULOUS. We have finally found our trusted restaurant. Thank you

My favorite restaurant in the area. Carbonera is a dish not to be missed

A wonderful discovery, made thanks to my partner who knows and recognizes the excellent skills of the chef. Every time we go it's a discovery. There are always tempting and imaginative proposals that can stimulate and satisfy everyone's tastes, even vegetarians. The environment is small and intimate, furnished with care and simplicity precisely because the protagonists remain the dishes and the waiters, skilled in providing all the explanations and guiding the diners, in what is certainly a pleasant discovery. Absolutely recommended if you pass through Rome and are in these parts.

Excellent restaurant - food, wine list, service. The owner also serves himself, explains the menu, describes the wines. All the dishes were excellent, I would like to say with a little twist but divine! There are many restaurants in Rome, but we would still like to go there. We definitely recommend!

Trivelig sted, nydelig mat - klassisk italiensk med moderne vri - smilende og kjapp service. God atmosfære. Anbefales!
