PITIGLIANO is probably the cutest little town in Toscana and staying at the Ceccottino is the best recommendation I could ever make to anyone that wants to experience real tuscan hospitality! The rooms are immaculate clean, done with such taste and dedication to detail. Overall a wonderful experience! Their hosts Chiara and Alessandro are a delight! Their restaurant is fabulous! Still making dishes following their mamma’s recipes but with a twist! The Slow food movement is expressed at its best! A must in Toscana, a true gem you’ll never forget!

Located in the heart of Pitigliano’s old town, Hostaria del Ceccottino offers elevated Tuscan cuisine in a stylish, softly lit space. We came here for a romantic dinner and were not disappointed. The highlights were the beef tagliata with rosemary potatoes and the handmade tortelli stuffed with ricotta and spinach. The wine recommendation – a local Syrah – was spot on. Service was polished and professional, and the setting made it feel like a special evening. It’s a bit pricier (€50–€60 per person), but absolutely worth it for the quality and atmosphere. Perfect for a date night or celebration.

One of the best experiences you can ever have in a dinning environment, Slow food is made here is the first sign you'll see, means to take time and enjoy the food, life, love and those around you. What could be better! 🥰 The owners are the lovest people you will ever want to meet, you will feel like family. The food is the finest you will ever have truly a life-altering experience! 😋 They also have the nicest Boutique Hotel in all of Pitigilio! This is a must do if you make it to this truly charming city. Enjoy! 🥰

Location elegante e raffinata, finemente curata nei dettagli. Nei piatti abbiamo trovato eccellente qualità della materia prima, sapientemente trattata, rispettando i sapori della tradizione che il menù propone. Servizio attento e professionale. Carta dei vini molto ampia con un importante scelta di annata. Sicuramente ritorneremo se faremo nuovamente tappa a Pitigliano.

13/05/2025: Passing by on a cycling tour we found it closed, most likely it only opens in the evenings or on weekends.
06/05/2025: Fantastic!! Super Fiorentina cooked right in front of you! Bruschetta appetizer equally good and different from each other. Highly recommended, you can't help but stop by and eat their meat!! Even the homemade dessert! Super honest prices for the quality!
