We were at Hostaria al Gladiatore today and we had a great time, in addition to the excellent view and the excellent food, a big round of applause goes to Silvio who welcomed us and served us in an excellent manner

14/03/2026: We stumbled upon this place by chance after a bad experience with another local restaurant that was closed despite a reservation. We didn't have a reservation and the place was packed, but the staff was incredibly kind and found us a table anyway. The food was truly excellent, the service was attentive, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. It was a wonderful discovery. We'll definitely be back.
01/03/2026: The waiter was very friendly and speaks Spanish quite well. Good value for money.

16/03/2026: This was the BEST carbonara and amatriciana I had in Rome to this day! And I did eat these in many MANY restaurants there. Honestly the carbonara got me emotional. Such a wonderful surprise since we stumbled upon this place when walking near the hotel. It is definitely a simple place but the food is outstanding! Great bread and wine too.
11/03/2026: Welcoming place. Traditional Roman dishes, excellent quality. Recommended.
