I eat there very often, the best in Florence, a wide variety of rolls and they're all amazing!!! The first and second courses are also fantastic. Super nice and helpful staff. Number 1

This place is impressive every single time we go. The sushi is fresh and delicious, and the fried rice, noodles, and ramen are a great break from Italian food. They have a nice wine selection as well. Can’t recommend this restaurant enough.

The food was good but we had an uncomfortable situation. The staff started closing down about 30 minutes before closing time (11pm) and rather that let us know they'd be closing, they would passive aggressively hint at us to go. No warning the kitchen is closing, no letting us know closing time, just stare daggers at us for not rushing. I understand wanting to leave on time, I'd rather we talk about that instead of having three members of staff stare at us through the glass without blinking. It's not a bad place, just don't have dinner late.

There is nothing to complain about. Really everything was perfect. The atmosphere was magnificent, the food even more so. The black udon and the tuna tartare are the best dishes and I recommend everyone to try them. 10 out of 10. We will return again and have already been there twice.

06/08/2025: When you walk in, it seems a bit plain, but the sushi selection is excellent, and the quality is especially good! The waitress is super friendly and speaks good English. A big surprise is the cozy courtyard where you can sit—very nice!
05/08/2025: The service was great, and the girl who served us was very friendly. The price was okay, as was the sushi, but we would have preferred larger sushi and perhaps a better selection, as there wasn't much to choose from and the sushi pieces were quite small.

07/07/2025: Excellent food, very kind and helpful managers and staff for every need.
27/06/2025: I have been to Kaizen for sushi several times and every time I choose it for the goodness of the sushi and good quality products and the good quality/price ratio. The service is sometimes a little slow and sometimes faster, it depends a little on the day and the clientele. The certainty however is that the waiters are always kind, helpful and welcoming. Simple but nice environment suitable for a meal with friends or family. In Florence it is one of my favorite sushi so I recommend it
