We were originally looking for a typical restaurant with traditional cuisine, but many outlying restaurants are closed on Monday evenings, so we headed downtown and stumbled upon this restaurant. Excellent food. Professional service, modern decor. Nothing to say, it was perfect.

Great staff. Great snacks on the side. The only minor complaint is the price of the beers. Quality comes at a price, but €6 for a 0.3 liter is a bit much. But in Trieste, you have to accept that.

Situato in via di Cavana, nel cuore della vivace movida triestina, Hops Beerstró è un locale che unisce atmosfere moderne a una cucina fusion dai richiami internazionali. Ottima selezione di birre artigianali: io ho scelto una Blanche all’hibiscus, dal bel colore rosato, con un gusto dolce e aromatico davvero piacevole. Abbiamo iniziato condividendo alcuni snack: falafel ben speziati e patatine con cajun, croccanti e gustose. Lo staff si è mostrato molto attento alle intolleranze alimentari, un aspetto che ho apprezzato moltissimo. Come piatto principale, ho scelto il Crispy Coco Lime Chicken: sovracoscia di pollo marinata con latte di cocco e lime, fritta in una panatura croccante di panko. Il piatto era accompagnato da una maionese giapponese al miso, che personalmente non ho gradito, ma lo staff è stato disponibile e mi ha portato la versione classica su richiesta. Ottimo il tocco fresco e pungente dato dal cipollotto. Per dessert abbiamo assaggiato una panna cotta al latte di cocco con coulisse ai frutti di bosco: delicata, senza lattosio né glutine. Davvero interessante anche il dolce al cioccolato con caramello e arachidi, perfetto per chi ama i sapori intensi. Locale consigliato per chi ama esplorare sapori diversi in un ambiente accogliente e curato, con personale gentile e preparato. Promosso a pieni voti!

Tenemos 2 bollos de Bao diferentes y artículos de las selecciones de "tapas". Todo estaba bien hecho y sabroso. También tuvimos 3 cervezas artesanales que estaban en su punto. El servicio fue amable y rápido. Los precios son correctos teniendo en cuenta la calidad de la comida y cerveza que consumimos.

15/07/2025: An authentic journey through Lebanese cuisine From the first moment, we felt welcomed with elegance and warmth. Only one waiter in the dining room, young and refined, with a beautiful Lebanese accent: discreet, knowledgeable, and engaging. A true host. The menu is carefully designed: offerings designed for sharing (2 or 3 people), with clear, intelligent, and inviting options. We chose the seven-course menu (about €65), also letting his advice guide us. To drink, only Lebanese wines: a bold and consistent choice that won us over. He explained everything with passion, and every sip proved to be perfectly paired with the flavors of the dinner. Then came the orange blossom lemonade. Fresh, aromatic, surprising. A little enchantment not to be missed. But the real magic lies in the dishes: each course was authentic, fragrant, and spiced with perfect balance. A triumph of authentic flavors. The baba ganoush, in particular, left us speechless with its unmistakable smoky flavor. It was love at first sight. More than a dinner, it was a true sensory journey. We asked a thousand questions, and the waiter answered with patience and passion, sharing dishes, stories, and traditions. A rare pleasure. I recommend anyone who loves Middle Eastern cuisine (or wants to truly discover it) to come here and let yourself be guided. You won't regret it.
06/07/2025: Dinner for three. Very kind staff, stylish place. The food is good, especially the Lebanese dessert. The only small complaint is that the price is a bit high.
