Homu In Torino

Excellent and quality food. I do not recommend the tasting menu (menu 1) because by ordering the same dishes a la carte you spend less (we noticed this later). Furthermore, in the tasting menu it would perhaps be appropriate to have one dessert per person and not one to divide in two. However, the service and location are excellent and we will gladly return, certainly ordering à la carte.

We went to Homu for a dinner with 5 friends. I must say that the table they put us at was fantastic: after all, nice, spacious, private. We sat down at 9.30pm with the restaurant full. In fact, it took half an hour to come and take the orders (except the water which they brought to us immediately). After the orders were taken with extreme calm, unfortunately there was an organization problem: there wasn't a moment in which all 5 diners ate together: the dishes arrived in a somewhat random manner, 5 dishes arrived to one person and none to the others, some have been forgotten... in short, a bit of confusion. I ate a seaweed salad (very good) at 10pm and then the next dish arrived at 11.30pm, when the others had already all finished. Having said this - a must for a restaurant with the prices and quality of Homu - the dishes we ate were really delicious. Very fresh fish, beautiful plating and high quality food. The waitresses were very kind and helpful, despite the inconvenience. We were also offered some Japanese whiskey at the end of the dinner. Gesture much appreciated although, given the inconvenience, we would have preferred a symbolic discount.

The best à la carte sushi in Turin. The quality of the dishes is not at all comparable to other places with à la carte menus. Homu is a step higher and this quality certainly costs money. Dinner for 3 people, €330.

As far as I'm concerned it's the best sushi in Turin. Alessia and Jonny are spectacular and their boys are equally spectacular. Beautiful setting, try the mojito sushi! A particular delicacy!

12/23/2022 Very quiet and nice restaurant. A la carte menu. The dishes are very elegant and with attention to every detail. I think it's one of the best in town.
