As far as I remember, there used to be a really nice, classic Italian-style grill there, or rather, an Italian-style extension of a gas station, serving coffee and classic Italian delicacies. Simply put, it was pure Italy when you came over the Brenner Pass from Germany. Now it's a soulless, washable supermarket with a huge air-conditioned counter, cheap storage furniture, and a hall that looks like something's always missing because not everything is stocked. Even in peak season, the seats and chairs are never even half full. It's just a shame how little thought and care could go into it.

It was crowded, quick, convenient, not very romantic (which wasn't expected), and the restrooms were clean. There was also a fenced-in dog park – very cool. Everything you could want at a motorway service station was there. The food was more like fast food, but okay. Definitely try the pistachio croissants.

Everything is clean, but extremely expensive...anyone who buys anything here is asking for trouble...a bottle of beer for €8 or Pringles for €6...that's outrageous!
