27/07/2025: We stayed in this splendid residence located in a small village, with a breathtaking view of the valley. The atmosphere is authentic, with the charm of a historic building offering evocative views and moments of true relaxation.
There's a small spa, with a truly pleasant, heated indoor pool—a real treat.
Ideal for unwinding after a day of hiking or simply enjoying a regenerating break.
The cuisine is simple but excellent, with homemade, authentic dishes that reflect the region and its traditions. For nature lovers, this is the perfect starting point for exploring the Cilento nature reserve or simply for a break from the hustle and bustle of the city.
The only downside, which unfortunately prevents me from giving it a full 5 stars, is the lack of attention to the exterior entrance. I understand that this is an ancient residence, but for this very reason I believe that cleanliness and maintenance of the outdoor areas (especially the presence of weeds and some frescoes in need of restoration) are essential: they represent the first impression of the structure, which deserves to be fully appreciated.
Don't expect formal service with uniformed staff, but you will find a team—some of whom seem familiar—kind, helpful, and professional in their simple and authentic way.
In short, a place I recommend to those seeking peace, nature, and authenticity.
19/07/2025: The hotel is located just below the village in a quiet location and is housed in a charming historic building, though its 1980s renovations are questionable; it could be better maintained. The room is spacious and has a view. The welcome is courteous, but could be improved. A heated indoor pool is included in the price. Dinner offers very limited choices and is nothing special. Overall, considering the price, one would expect something better.
