The reviews seem to praise their sushi but we mostly avoided anything raw because we didn’t want to run the risk of upset stomach. The two nigiri we did try WAS very good though, and the food in general was very good. The one downside was the atrociously slow service. Like "one guy working the entire restaurant" level of slow. Our food came out in a trickle of dishes over the course of over an hour. It was our last evening so we didn’t make too much of it but definitely it wasn’t typical of what we’d experienced elsewhere.

Paolo, Japanese from Shizuoka, is always a guarantee of quality. Fresh fish, carefully prepared...even if lately a little less abundant! However one of the best "real" Japanese in the San Giovanni area.

For lunch I tried the all you can eat formula with great satisfaction. The quality of the food is several notches higher than other places of this type. Quick and punctual service and the tablet menu is well sorted by category and illustrated with great precision. Excellent experience

I reiterate my previous assessments. I have eaten at this restaurant dozens of times and have never noticed a drop in quality. I absolutely recommend it.

HAYASHI sempre una garanzia, consigliato per passare una bella serata in famiglia o tra amici circondati da buoni sapori e da piatti di qualità. Davvero consigliato

Ristorante molto garbato nel centro di San Giovanni. Menú ricco con tante ricette particolari e servizio ottimale anche domenica a pranzo. Personale gentile e disponibile. Sicuramente tornerò.

23/02/2025: On the timetable it says that the restaurant opens at 7pm, but if you're lucky they usually open after 15 minutes because they have to eat.... Everything is fine!! But you changed the opening hours both on Google and on the times posted on the door... disappointing 😅 So I'm reducing two stars... but you can always recover! 🤟
31/01/2025: Everything was good! At one point the service became a bit slow, 45 minutes, that's a long time! recommend
