Food here is very differently prepared from how it's generally made.
It was new to my palatte, not sure if I liked it very much. But it was definitely not bad.
The dishes felt somewhat heavy on cream (both the coconut rice and curry)
The chat was okay too!
I saw this place has very good reviews, famous for punjabi cuisine!
Maybe this is the place for non-veg!

A True Gem of Indian Fine Dining in Florence!
Dining at Haveli Restaurant Florence was an unforgettable experience, blending the richness of Indian cuisine with warm Italian hospitality. From the moment we stepped in, we were embraced by the inviting ambiance elegant yet cozy, with fusion of contemporary and traditional Indian décor elements that beautifully complemented the fine dining atmosphere.
A special mention must go to Mr. Giotti Singh, whose gracious hospitality elevated our evening. He ensured that every detail was perfect, guiding us through the menu with genuine warmth and knowledge. His attentiveness and welcoming demeanor made us feel like honored guests rather than just diners.
The food itself was a culinary delight—each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with authentic flavors. From the fragrant biryanis to the delicately spiced curries and freshly baked naan, every bite transported us straight to India.
Whether you’re a connoisseur of Indian cuisine or trying it for the first time, Haveli is a must-visit in Florence. It’s not just a meal; it’s a full cultural experience delivered with care, class, and heart.

Absolutely incredible experience! This Indian restaurant in Florence blew us away with its authentic flavors and warm hospitality. We tried the Elayachi Chicken Tikka, Shahi Paneer, and Brinjal—every single dish was bursting with rich, well-balanced spices and cooked to perfection. The Elayachi Chicken Tikka was especially memorable, with a unique cardamom twist that elevated the flavor beautifully. The Shahi Paneer was creamy, fragrant, and comforting, and the brinjal was tender and full of smoky goodness.
To top it all off, we had their Masala Tea, which was easily one of the best we’ve had outside of India—perfectly spiced and soothing.
If you’re in Florence and craving authentic Indian food, this place is a must-visit!
