I want to respond to that person who made an invented and bad review, nothing of what he wrote at Happy Pizza is true, it's great there are polite and nice people and everything that is pizza, burgers, kebabs and many other treats can be enjoyed in a corner beautiful and quiet in front of the lake...we have been customers for years and have never seen a drunk...maybe whoever wrote has been drinking...LONG HAPPY PIZZA I RECOMMEND IT TO EVERYONE

Review Happy Pizza, Via della Rena, Trevignano
It had been a year since we were last in Trevignano, but you never forget a ‘happy’ eating experience – which was the case with the previous pizze meal that we had shared with the family courtesy of Happy Pizza. That had been during the week of the celebration of Ferragosto – the religious service and the boat parade on Lago Braccciano with the lakeshore lined with hundreds of on-lookers. You can imagine that impact upon local facilities – where to park, where to eat, where to stand, etc.
The pizzeria is a few metres from Piazza V. Emanuele III and opposite the car park (which now has a couple of charging locations for e-cars – my how things have changed) where Via della Rena begins and follows the lake shore west - above the beach and below the modern town. All parking from here on is competitive (it costs E1/h – if you can find a space in August).
Last year we did just that – joined the queue out into the eating area al fresco to access the Happy Pizza, ordered and been given a time in which to return to collect our pizze. We had returned on time and eaten our meal seated outside the restaurant at one of a handful of tables there.
What a difference the date makes – this time the Ferragosto holiday was still a week away and we had the pizzeria to ourselves apart from the single customer in front of us ordering his meal. There’s a menu on the wall and another above the counter and, more importantly, there is a glass see-through cupboard beneath the counter which, during our visit, was full of pizze portavia/mangiare sul posto.
There were 11 of us – six adults and five kids (who typically ate more of this particular favourite food than their parents). We looked, selected and ordered, and the friendly man behind the counter collected our order from the trays beneath the counter to take it round to kitchen at the back to reheat. Whilst this was taking place (5-10 minutes) he returned to the counter and we paid him. The bill came to E38.50 for the two large flat boxes of pizze that we eventually carried away. It was excellent value at about E3.50 each.
There’s also a large twin door drinks refrigerator to the left of the restaurant as you enter – offering a great selection of cold/ice drinks (… important, with ambient temperatures for mid-August in the mid-30s degC this year) but we resisted that one this time round.
We’d chosen half-dozen different kinds of pizze and they all looked delicious. We’d been tempted to sit outside and eat our meal there-and-then … but we had earlier planned to eat at our place where we had all kinds of fruit, salad, contorni, etc. available. In our enormous twin freezer/refrigerator there were all kinds of cold drinks available suitable for both big and small people. Ice/water on tap too. And, finally, we’d this large table that could accommodate us all, and it was outside and under cover with a view across to the Apennines. Our place was about 10 km out of town and above the lake where we enjoyed a cool/refreshing wind of an evening. It was well worth the ride home to enjoy our meal in the gorgeous setting available.
Safe to say, that the meal went down a treat – pizze Napoli/Margherita/Salsiccia, etc. with funghi, melanzana, salami, insalade, tonna, patate, etc. All those different tastes!
It was a final night together before one of the families left the following morning after a week shared in a large house in the rolling hill country above and a few km north of the town. We had this spectacular view across open country to the Apennines to the east and, in the evening, there was the sun setting beneath the western hills and flooding everything in bright red/orange light.
Family, a delightful – final - meal shared together, and the magic of the surrounding Lazio countryside. You couldn’t ask for more.
And here’s an aside. Only four reviews/two photos in three years … the Happy Pizza is clearly missing out on those opportunities for promoting itself more widely. Time for that wall notice requesting more feedback from those eating Happy Pizza foods/meals.

A great place for pizza. We ate here two times during our stay, because they just made the loveliest pizza. I had a Margherita both times, but my family members insist that every pizza they've tried was amazing. It gets very full after 8:30, so try to eat there earlier. The view isn't the best, because it's on the other side of the street, it's a bit small, and you can't properly see the lake, but you have the option of taking your food somewhere else after paying. I loved eating here! We got four very delicious pizzas for about 32€, so it's definitely a steal.
