Very kind and the sushi was excellent throughout! Even the fried food was crispy but light!! Very normal price 👍

Good quality food, location in a questionable area of ​​Catania, but all in all strategic since it's close to Piazza Stesicoro. Friendly staff, I'll definitely be back.

I've tried other all-you-can-eat restaurants in Catania, all very good, but Hanaby is still the best. Here you'll find home-style cooking. Low-fat salmon, handmade spring rolls (not frozen), flavorful goyza filling, and ramen soup that would make all of Asia jealous. Well done, keep it up!

Sushi very close to Piazza Stesicoro. Excellent food, moderate prices, and excellent service. The place is also well-maintained and clean. I recommend it for a quick lunch.

I had lunch at this sushi place on a weekday with the room full. Despite having a fairly large table (10 people), everything arrived in perfect order and organization. I can't find a single flaw in the place, either in terms of the food or the atmosphere. Excellent fish and fast service. Impeccable is an understatement. I'll be back.

The service was quick, attentive, and friendly. They don't have coffee, but otherwise the food was spectacular and the decor is beautiful. We'll definitely be back if we have the chance.

A friend of mine and I made a reservation and asked over the phone if they had sweet and sour sauce (specifying NOT spicy and sour), and they laughingly said yes, as if it were a given. Once there, we asked two different waiters if they could bring it to us, but nothing arrived. We asked a third time, and finally a waitress brought us a portion of spicy and sour sauce. I asked if I could have sweet and sour, but she told me they didn't have it, even though they'd said yes over the phone. Moving on, the sushi wasn't bad, but we expected much more after reading several reviews calling it the best sushi in Catania. We found it a bit cloying/heavy (especially the steamed ravioli), but that's a matter of taste. The thing that bothered us the most was the rudeness of the staff; they practically threw dishes at the table and were generally not very welcoming.

19/12/2025: Good food but not exceptional, atmosphere, next to our table near the window a huge cobweb, but the thing that bothered me most was a terrible glass of white wine €10 and €4 cover charge where they don't even bring you a breadstick!
17/12/2025: A pleasant place, ideal for a quiet dinner. The sushi is fresh, tasty, and carefully prepared, without unnecessary excess. Good variety on the menu and friendly service. Overall, a place you'll gladly return to.

Dakoky Sushi Fusion

29/12/2025: The QR code menu is a big turnoff. If you don't eat here often or eat Japanese you will struggle. We had to ask for a pen and paper so we can write down what we wanted. Then we got told the sake I picked wasn't available. Food was good and fresh but quite expensive compared to what we generally have.
21/12/2025: My partner and I were the last to arrive at this restaurant for the first time, at a dinner party. We noticed there were more guests than there were seats at the table. There was a bit of organizational chaos until everyone squeezed in a bit and two of us were seated at a separate table. While they were busy setting the table, we politely asked them to set the table for our two guests, who were missing everything since they'd been added to the main table and wanted, like the others, to start with the prosecco. Nothing. The girl approached twice, carrying glasses, and was invited by the owner to return to her seat. After a while, they arrived, but the prosecco had already gotten too warm. From that moment on, no matter what we asked for—from forks to water or more prosecco—we were incredibly ignored or, at any rate, always served last. When the owner approached and asked how things were going, I called him aside, politely inviting him to pay more attention. He clearly explained that the problem was related to the fact that there were more guests than expected, and I realized he was perhaps trying to take some of the frustration out on us since we were the last to arrive. Our only fault. I want to point out that our participation had been planned with the provider by email for days; we weren't the ones with extra guests. The idea was to leave at that point, but we didn't want to be disrespectful to those who invited us and the sponsor (who drove us). And the overall three stars are due to their kindness, certainly not to the location, but I'm not in the habit of writing negative reviews, especially not negative ones. Realizing we'd been targeted and had to stay, we avoided asking for anything else. Even the cake, despite being seated at the table waiting for it to be brought to us and sitting closest to the cutting area, was served first to the others standing, placed in vacant seats belonging to some of us who had already left, and even offered to tables outside our group rather than have it brought to us. The same thing had happened shortly before with the sake and the bitters; we didn't have the pleasure of anyone approaching to ask. Humiliated from start to finish, we left without tasting it and, given the obvious and repeated shortcomings toward us, refrained from greeting the owners—it's not my habit. I have no comment on the food, which many at the table considered excellent, as I would be affected by the poor service and bad mood, although the evening overall was a success and pleasantly enlivened by a band brought by the organizers. Unfortunately, I'll have to walk past there who knows how many more times since I've recently started working very close by, but I'll try to find an alternative route, ignoring them forever, like they did with me all evening.
