Excellent Japanese owned and operated restaurant in Centro, there's a broad menu, but I recommend sitting at the bar and ordering what's fresh and made-to-order, because some of the best cuts are only available for a la carte nigiri, sashimi and temaki hand rolls. Service is excellent, in Italian, Japanese and English. Update: Came back to order off the menu. They started us with a small salmon amuse bouche, then we had the agedashi tofu starter. I had the piato misti with assorted sushi niguri and maki, the futo maki which were huge but we're filled with salmon, unagi, fried ebi, and hamachi. finished it off with green tea gelato and vanilla gelato. Excellent as always

He estado yendo a este lugar durante años, y lo consideré "especial", pero desafortunadamente creo, como algunas de las otras críticas, que se ha deslizado. Parece tener una gestión diferente; el servicio tampoco era lo que solía ser. Los platos de tofu y berenjena estaban tan buenos como siempre, pero el sushi no era tan sabroso y agradable como recuerdo.

il vero ristorante giapponese a Roma da più di 40 anni. Locale accogliente in stile giapponese. Sarai accolto da Yukie San, e potrai accedere al Sushi-bar gestito dalla chef Hirokosan oppure al tavolo, ma non cambia nulla Cibo autentico della tradizione giapponese

05/04/2025: I went to Amazonia on Friday evening, The welcome from the staff was truly comfortable. Throughout the evening the girls in the room, Francesca and Ilaria, paid attention to our every need. The experience at Amazonia was made even more pleasant by the excellent drinks prepared by the barman Adriano. At the end of the evening we also had the pleasure of speaking with the director, Zoe, who treated us divinely. Definitely a place we will return to surrounded by an excellent welcome.
09/03/2025: I went to this place a few nights ago with my friends and I ABSOLUTELY recommend it! Super nice place, impeccable service, the girls in the room Ilaria and Francesca were very professional and nice, they followed us all evening. Not to mention the food, for sushi lovers like me, if you haven't tried it yet GO!!

07/09/2025: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Simply perfect experience! 🍣 This sushi restaurant is truly excellent: the freshest fish, dishes meticulously prepared and elegantly presented. Every course was an explosion of flavor, from sashimi to nigiri to the most creative rolls. The staff was incredibly kind, attentive, and always smiling, creating a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. The place is well-kept, clean, and very pleasant, perfect for both a romantic dinner and an evening with friends. The quality-price ratio is absolutely fair, considering the high-quality ingredients. I can't wait to go back: I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to try top-notch sushi!
