Derrière l’allure trompeuse d’une machine à touristes, ce restaurant parvient à faire mentir les préjugés. Les plats, sans être transcendants, jouent leur partition avec une honnête maîtrise : généreux et bien exécutés. L’accueil, chaleureux sans excès. Ce n’est certes pas une table qui fera frémir les guides gastronomiques, mais ce n’est pas non plus une escale à fuir. Une halte correcte.

sono romano e quando torno a Roma mi piace mangiare in posti caratteristici. Ebbene questo ristornate, pur essendo in zona altamente turistica, offre un menu di piatti della tradizione romana che soddisfano gli esigenti palati di veri romani. Personale gentilissimo e molto preparato. Da tornarci di sicuro!!!!

23/03/2025: It is worth going there just for the Scent of History that you can breathe between the walls of this Historic Restaurant. We were there for my nephew's birthday and I would never have expected anything like this. A Post Office for Princes, Princesses, Queens and Kings of the Past, who were on the Famous Grand Tour around Europe. The stable for the horses where the change took place to continue their Tour is still visible... a place that Smells of History. Super Friendly Staff..... 10 and Honors Head Waiter... what can I say..... It is Worth Going There.... I have been to many restaurants in Italy (even starred ones) and I must say that this experience Accessible to All Had Never Happened to Me.... 100 and Honors!!!
15/03/2025: Didn’t have a reservation but not an issue as it was March and we got there right as they opened. The view would’ve been cool but it was dark already so we sat inside. The amatriciana tortellini was delicious although could’ve benefited from an another tortellini or two (although maybe we’re just too American). The eggplant Parmesan was amazing!! Would recommend that for vegetarians. The pear walnut salad was just ok. The tomato basil pappardelle was good but not super flavorful. The chocolate cake was also good but not stellar. The hazelnut coffee parfait (gelato) was delicious but tiny fyi. The bread and biscotti/almond cookies on the house were nice.
