I was looking for a place to eat in Sassari and was recommended this place. The food is excellent, the staff is friendly, and the food is authentic. I highly recommend it.

Good place for lunch, would rate it 4.5 if I could. We had the horse steak with potatoes which was very very tasty and the beef costata with aubergine. We enjoyed the beef too, but it had a few too fatty sections.

An Aperol Spritz and a delicious selection of sausages and cheeses. A lovely break during our visit to Sassari. The meat and pasta dishes also looked good. Very friendly service. It was enjoyable.

26/04/2026: Fresh fish, price by weight, excellent value for money, a 10/10. The service was good; they took a long time to bring the food, but we're on vacation. Oysters, wild sea bass, squid, prawns—all incredibly fresh. It's a fishmonger, and they sell it by weight, cook it, and serve it to you.
06/04/2026: I love food markets in Spain, and this place really reminds me of that atmosphere. It’s great to have a similar experience in Sardinia, being able to eat inside a market setting. The fish was fresh and well cooked, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The price is a bit high for the overall experience, especially considering the portion of fried calamari, which could have been more generous. That said, I still recommend trying it if you’re in Alghero.
