Really excellent pizzas... The fried food is delicious...

Prenotato per una cena, tavolo già pronto all’arrivo. (E siamo arrivati anche in anticipo). La location è unica, ispiratasi al nome dalla quale prende nome il locale, il Guernica. Non appena si entra si percepisce già un’ondata d’arte che sin da subito mette in risalto l’unicità del locale. Possibile la scelta della sala interna ed esterna (presente anche un ulteriore sala adibita non solo alla ristorazione ma anche ad eventuali eventi come compleanni, feste di laurea ecc ecc). La prima cosa che salta all’occhio è la cura e l’attenzione ai dettagli, partendo dalla mes en place, sino alla ricerca e all’attenzione con la quale vengono scelti gli ingredienti. Abbiamo ordinato una bistecca, e ci è stata correttamente servita con la cottura richiesta (fattore assolutamente non scontato), ed una pizza. Piacevolissimo é stato constatare che gli ingredienti utilizzati per la pizza sono di prima scelta. La mozzarella utilizzata è una bellissima fior di latte km0 (presente ovviamente anche la bufala), FINALMENTE un ristorante che utilizza UNA VERA MOZZARELLA. Proseguendo con l’impasto (lievitato 48h, e si sente), siamo ai livelli di quello che non avrei difficoltà a definire l’impasto per la pizza perfetta. Sia in termini di gusto, consistenza al morso, e alveolatura. Il pizzaiolo sa decisamente fare il suo mestiere, che unito alla qualità degli ingredienti scelti, danno come risultato una pizza che DOVETE provare. La spinta artistica del locale è presente anche sulla forma della pizza, quadrata, che attribuisce un ulteriore valore aggiunto alla qualità riscontrata (su richiesta viene realizzata anche tonda). Presente anche la pizza alla pala con lievitazione di ben 72H. Tornerò sicuramente, e non vedo l’ora di provarla. Per accompagnare abbiamo ordinato anche una piadina ed una semplicissima insalatina, ma semplice, non significa scontato al Guernica. Anche la piadina, era pressoché perfetta. E anche qui non manca attenzione al dettaglio, ci è stata portata al tavolo una bottiglia di olio extravergine d’oliva. Non piccole bustine dal gusto inesistente, una INTERA BOTTIGLIA. Abbiamo consumato la cena, e tra la sorpresa da tra un morso e l’altro, e la gentilezza dello staff abbiamo passato un’ottima serata. Qui una piccola considerazione personale. La ragazza che ha preso l’ordinazione è la mia preferita. In conclusione, il Guernica è un locale unico nel suo genere, che vi mette a disposizione una qualità degli ingredienti eccellente (e difficilissima da trovare) AD UN PREZZO ACCESSIBILISSIMO A TUTTI. E la qualità degli ingredienti è accompagnato da un ambiente e da un’attenzione al cliente, che vi garantiranno una serata unica, distante dagli stereotipi di ristorazione alla quale nostro malgrado siamo abituati a Taranto. Locale ASSOLUTAMENTE DA PROVARE per chiunque sia alla ricerca di una esperienza all’insegna della qualità al giusto prezzo. Concludo con i dolci, fatti in casa, abbiamo ordinato un dolce al cocco e alla nutella, è un dolce che si ispira alla kinder paradiso. Chiunque sia un cucina, nel ramo pasticceria, sa fare il suo lavoro. Prezzi accessibili a chiunque, ma soprattutto, molto facile é pagare in altri locali del Tarantino la stessa somma, ma mangiando decisamente peggio. Una scoperta che diventerà assolutamente una tappa fissa. Consiglio ASSOLUTAMENTE questo locale per chiunque voglia godere di una cena all’insegna dell’innovazione e della qualità.

As soon as you enter you can already perceive a wave of art that immediately highlights the uniqueness of the place. You can choose between an internal and external room (there is also an additional room used not only for catering but also for any events such as birthdays, graduation parties, etc.). The first thing that catches the eye is the care and attention to detail, starting from the mes en place, up to the research and attention with which the ingredients are chosen. We ordered a steak, and it was served correctly with the requested cooking (a factor that is absolutely not a given), and a pizza. It was very pleasant to note that the ingredients used for the pizza are first choice. The mozzarella used is a beautiful fior di latte km0 (obviously buffalo mozzarella is also present), FINALLY a restaurant that uses REAL MOZZARELLA. Continuing with the dough (leavened for 48 hours, and you can taste it), we are at the level of what I would have no difficulty in defining as the dough for the perfect pizza. Both in terms of taste, consistency when biting, and alveolation. The pizza chef definitely knows how to do his job, which combined with the quality of the ingredients chosen, result in a pizza that you MUST try. The artistic drive of the restaurant is also present in the shape of the pizza, square, which gives an additional added value to the quality found (on request it is also made round). There is also the pizza alla pala with a leavening of 72H. I will definitely be back, and I can't wait to try it. To accompany we also ordered a piadina and a very simple salad, but simple, does not mean obvious at Guernica. Even the piadina, was almost perfect. And here too there is no lack of attention to detail, a bottle of extra virgin olive oil was brought to the table. Not small sachets with no taste, a WHOLE BOTTLE. We consumed dinner, and between the surprise between one bite and the next, and the kindness of the staff we had a great evening. Here is a small personal consideration. The girl who took the order is my favorite. In conclusion, Guernica is a one-of-a-kind place, which offers you excellent quality ingredients (and very difficult to find) AT A PRICE THAT IS VERY ACCESSIBLE TO EVERYONE. And the quality of the ingredients is accompanied by an environment and attention to the customer, which will guarantee you a unique evening, far from the restaurant stereotypes to which, unfortunately, we are accustomed in Taranto. A place THAT IS ABSOLUTELY MUST TRY for anyone looking for a quality experience at the right price. I conclude with the desserts, homemade, we ordered a coconut and nutella dessert, it is a dessert that is inspired by the kinder paradiso. Anyone who is a cook, in the pastry branch, knows how to do their job. Prices accessible to anyone, but above all, it is very easy to pay the same amount in other places in Taranto, but eating much worse. A discovery that will absolutely become a fixed stop. I ABSOLUTELY recommend this place for anyone who wants to enjoy a dinner in the name of innovation and quality.
