Gualdo del Re In Suvereto

We stayed at this property from December 30, 2024 to January 1, 2025 with family and friends. The accommodations and the context are beautiful, truly top! Very high quality food and everything really excellent as well as the very refined home-produced wine. I don't give 5 stars for 2 reasons: hot water was not immediately available in the houses on the 31st morning and evening. Once reported, the problem was resolved in a short time, however I believe that in such a beautiful and superior quality structure, an event like this is penalizing. Another reason is linked to the distance between the apartments and the restaurant which had not been reported to us: having booked a 'New Year' package and having children in tow, it would have been important to know about this distance to travel by car.

We stopped for lunch and then tasted some wines. The restaurant is very good. The tasting was curated by Lorenzo who was very professional and very knowledgeable. Highly recommended!

Restaurant in the open countryside in Suvereto. Typical Tuscan dishes, menu consisting of meat and fish. Various appetizers with solutions that are also different from the usual. With a bottle of wine/sparkling wine and two dishes each and dessert we spent €50 each. For what we got, I think the price is in line with other places in the category.

We had lunch at this farmhouse, without staying overnight. Truly excellent experience in a welcoming and very clean environment. The dishes are carefully prepared and of high quality, the service is courteous, prompt without being intrusive. The waiting times are fair, the prices medium-high, but good in relation to the overall quality. Large car park adjacent to the restaurant. Advised.
