Grottino In Rieti

Sunday lunch. First course, second course, side dish, water, coffee, and tozzetti. 20 euros each! Everything was delicious. A place from another era. I highly recommend it.

A small restaurant located in the center of Rieti, I believe, family-run, you can breathe in the old flavors. The service is a little slow but the goodness of the dishes is there, then the low prices give that tolerance to slowness. Thanks, I've already been twice and the quality is the same. Well done.

On Sunday, we were in Rieti to visit the city, nothing planned... around lunchtime, a quick search and voilà, Grottino. Located right in the center, the owner is very good; she manages the dining room like I've never seen before, kind, empathetic, and it feels like home. There's a special atmosphere that leaves an impression. The food is home-style, the food is good, and the price is reasonable. As far as I'm concerned, it's the kind of place I'd like to find in every city. My son and I will never forget the welcome we received, and after a few days, we take this opportunity to thank the restaurant's owner once again.

A classic, family-run trattoria. The first courses are good. The appetizers could be improved. Good value for money.

The food was very good value for money. Very, very, very...slow service. I waited two hours for two dishes, and I left without a coffee (a 20-minute wait).

Yesterday I celebrated my graduation at this restaurant. Cristina was super kind, helpful, and attentive to every detail. The dishes were generous, typical of the area, and delicious. I highly recommend it and we'll definitely be back!
