We always stopped for lunch. The frutti di mare was delish. We did go for supper as well. Antonella was always kind to us and the atmosphere to think where you are located. People you are sitting within the Theatre of Pompei! What has happened to many ristoranti in Roma is seafood is dwindling. The Campo dei Fiori was a virtual seafood market but has since been replaced with an Indian bizarre! This is not good for the health of our oceans. Our seas are being overfished by corporations far from the fishing methods of Italian fishermen. The Teatro always had an outstanding choice of seafood for supper but now I'm afraid the loss of abundance has hurt them as well as other's menus in Rome. I hope they reopen soon and as for a surly waiter--you dont get that in NY?
