Groppi Pasticceria In Piacenza

A pastry shop not far from Piacenza station. I went in thinking I could get breakfast, but they don't have a coffee bar. It's a shame... I bought some croissants and left. The quality isn't bad, but it's a shame we don't have breakfast on site... or rather, there's a vending machine with a coffee machine! So BEWARE if you're looking for a place to have breakfast on site, sitting comfortably with a nice coffee, cappuccino, latte macchiato, etc. (bar style), this isn't for you...

Recommended by a supplier, I bought a savoury panettone for Christmas Eve lunch. It's my first time buying from Groppi. Excellent quality, the bread is soft, fresh, and tasty, unlike the usual sandwich bread I buy elsewhere. The filling is just right and balanced, a 10/10. The crispy focaccia is also delicious, highly recommended. I don't live in the city, but I'll definitely be back to buy other baked goods.
