It was a busy Sunday afternoon, with only one employee, so there was a bit of a wait before being served. Despite this, the clerk was kind and professional. It is a franchise so I expected a certain level of taste but it was just an average gelateria. They promoted a new flavor but it was disappointing. Also they seemed like they care about the quality of the gelato as they covered the gelato with lids but it made it difficult to guess what flavor to try as the staff looked like he did not want to work.

Le Cicale in Trattoria

13/03/2026: Trattoria alla Foce serving traditional dishes (and more). The brandade and trofie al pesto are truly delicious, and the focaccia is exceptional. Prices are moderate, and the service is attentive and friendly.
26/02/2026: I'm from Genoa and didn't know about it. A pleasant discovery, I was extremely pleased with the food and the selection. Highly recommended.

02/02/2026: Everyone should have friends who are passionate about food. We went there during our trip to Genoa and tried different sandwiches. I think it's a historical place. There's always a queue. But the staff are very nice and friendly. I recommend it.
17/12/2025: The place is a bit small but it's a great activity. The first time I was 14, now I'm 72 and I still go there.
