20/10/2024: By chance at the last moment with a friend, we decide to go to dinner in a place where tradition can be felt at every moment and place, a choice that has never been more appropriate, we are welcomed by people, it's strange to say this these days, smiling and which immediately puts you at ease, as if you were going to visit a family friend. At the table the girl who takes care of the orders advises us as an excellent hostess, trying to put us in a position to follow a journey that can leave us pleasantly satisfied , which she did perfectly well, chapeaux!
Homemade appetizer reinforced with various types of local products, capocollo, stretched pancetta, peppered pecorino, baked olives, meatball with sauce, pecorino, ricotta, bruschetta with dried tomatoes, crostini with melted cheese, stuffed pepper, aubergine with tomato concasse' and melted cheese, then continuing with parmesan and chilli cream soup and then again meatballs, aubergines and potato croquettes, I hope I haven't forgotten anything, but I certainly remember one thing, taste like the best Calabrian grandmothers... Let's get to the pasta, for me a tagliatella with mushrooms that doesn't even have time to get cold and is already finished, my friend opted for dried tomatoes and ricotta, well his is also worthy of fabulous praise, all accompanied by a nice bottle of local red (cold) for this reason alone you won me over, (because who cares that red is drunk at room temperature) and to finish a sponge cake with lemon cream and a sorbet also made to perfection... Well honestly I am proud and happy to have chosen you for my dinner... Thank you very much Marco m.
