Grillo's 1964 Restaurant Bistrot In Roncade

My boyfriend and I had our anniversary dinner at Grillo's 1964 on a Saturday evening. The location is very suggestive, in the park of a villa in the shade of large trees (the anti-mosquito spray provided by the staff was greatly appreciated!). We arrived first and were seated by an extremely kind girl; within an hour we had already been served an aperitif, a first course and a second course. Compliments must be given to the kitchen: the food is simply spectacular. The only sore point, however, was the service: when the place suddenly filled up, we unfortunately took a backseat. Twice we asked two different waitresses for a bottle of water, which after 30 minutes had still not been brought and, in the end, we personally went inside the restaurant to request it. Even though we understand very well the turmoil that inevitably arises in a restaurant on a Saturday evening (we could clearly see that the staff was doing their best to accommodate the requests of each table), our impression was still that of having been "forgotten" , so much so that the next hour was spent waiting for water and dessert. In all of this, also based on the other reviews, we would have expected that one of the two managers present in the room would at least come to ask us if everything was going well and perhaps to apologize for the prolonged wait. The two managers in fact served and conversed with everyone or at least with most of the other tables (presumably occupied by regular customers), but never with us except at the time of the bill, which left us with a bit of a bitter taste. in the mouth. Prices certainly above average, but fully justified by the location and the quality of the raw materials. Our impression, in any case, was positive in any case and we will definitely return, perhaps avoiding the weekend! :)

An experience for the palate at Grillo’s. Extremely friendly service and the food was very tasty. Nice ambience and great wine round everything off.

Enchanting location. The truly exquisite owner told us about the dishes and it was like tasting them first with our imagination. All the staff are very attentive and caring, you can feel that they love their job. The dishes are really high quality, everything is delicious, even the desserts are all homemade. We will definitely be back!

Superlative restaurant, I think one of the best places where I have eaten, wonderful location, sublime musical background with Battisti Venditti and Guccini. Absolutely worth trying. A warm greeting to the friendly owners who are really really good.

Interesting and tasty food, I am not a fan of too many ingredients, but this time it was good, with lots of vegetables, selection of fish or meat. The bottle of wine was tasty, but i paid 30 euro a bottle that cost 10 euro.
