Absolutely worth trying! Excellent granitas, personalized with fresh fruit! The lady was very kind, she told us the story and prepared an excellent granita with various ingredients, cost 4 euros, large glass. Very refreshing on hot Roman days! There are chairs available to enjoy the granita in the shade. If there is a queue it takes a little patience because everything is prepared on the spot.

This place is the holy grail of Roman grattachecca. Not to be confused with the Sicilian frozen treat, granita. I watched the fourth generation owner take an ice pick to a block of ice, then feed it into an old school grinder, scoop it into a cup, add a mixture of fresh squeezed lemon juice and sugar, and then per his recommendation, add some natural mint juice. Nothing fights off a Roman Summer like a grattachecca from this little slice of heaven.

First time I tasted gratichecca, how good!!!!!! Sweet and thirst-quenching with cherries. Alessandro served us, a truly friendly and helpful person. I will miss this little kiosk. Goodbye Rome....

Always nice and fun to come back and enjoy a quality scratch (similar to granita). The great-grandfather opened the same business in 1913 and now the owner carries on the tradition with kindness and competence. Go and try the many flavors available. I recommend the tamarind with black cherries and coconut

For 25 years my wife and I have been passing through here every time we come to Rome, excellent scratching places and the family that runs it is always kind and available for a chat. Absolutely worth trying for anyone coming to Rome.

This place is an absolute necessity when battling the hot weather of Rome and touring all of the amazing sites. Located just a few steps from the ponte garibaldi, this stand specializes in essentially shaved ice and has an array of flavors, with my personal favorites being strawberry and black cherry. He also finishes each drink off with either coconut slices or black cherries. These drinks are super flavorful and one of the most refreshing things I tasted during my stay, do yourself a favor and stop by, it is absolutely worth it!
