A relaxing and regenerating stay at the Gran Hotel Terme di Chianciano, which certainly deserves a special mention! The hotel has a slightly retro charm: you can see that it could use a refresh here and there, but it is kept with great care and cleanliness. The real gem? The spa: a true paradise of well-being! Large, clean, relaxing... you forget about the world outside. The service is excellent, impeccable from every point of view. A heartfelt thanks goes to the very kind director Monia, always present and attentive, a true professional with a sincere smile. Simone, always available and ready to solve every need with courtesy. And how can we forget Stanislao, the friendliest and most brilliant barman in Tuscany! His bitters are memorable. His company? Even better! Dinner was an experience to be enjoyed slowly: delicious dishes, well presented and with quality ingredients. A refined and generous cuisine, just as you would hope to find in a hotel of this level. In short, a structure with a soul, where people really make the difference. If you are looking for relaxation, good food and a warm welcome, this is the right place. With a few more touches of modernity, it could really become a pearl! We will definitely be back. 💆‍♀️🍷🌿

A regenerating stay with a 5-star welcome We spent a few days at the Grand Hotel Terme di Chianciano and, although the structure has some features that reflect the charm of the past, what really makes the difference is the quality of the service and the exceptional human warmth of the staff. A special praise goes to Monia and Simone, who made us feel more than just customers: they welcomed us as guests, with genuine kindness, constant availability and rare professionalism. The care they dedicate to every detail of the experience makes this hotel a place where you feel pampered, understood and fully relaxed. In short: the location may have a slightly retro style, but the level of service, the dedication of the people and the atmosphere you breathe are fully worth the 5 stars. We will definitely be back!

Ambiente lussuoso e raffinato, come fine 800 inizio 900 quando questi hotel erano frequentati da nobili che frequentavano le terme a pochi passi dall'hotel. Camera pulita ed ordinata, non proprio grande ma a un prezzo più che competitivo. Bagno completo e pulito Personale sempre disponibile e gentile Ristorante con pochi piatti ma buoni (orecchiette con rape e acciughe, baccalà alla vicentina) ed a un orizzontale onestissimo. The dining room staff was super friendly and always helpful, the breakfast was super plentiful, with lots of choice. The best part was undoubtedly the spa, with pools and saunas: perfect for relaxing after visiting the city. Special thanks to the director Francesco and the dining room manager Alfonso for their hospitality and availability. We will be back!

Excellent structure, the rooms and bathroom are a little dated but overall it doesn't disturb, because the kindness of all the staff is so great that it made us feel pampered in every moment of our stay. We stayed with friends and our 8 year old daughter who loved the heated pool with hydromassage and chromotherapy, truly excellent for relaxing. Having half board then praise goes to the restaurant because it served excellent dishes of Tuscan cuisine. Also full breakfast, sweet and savory. The possibility of coming down with slippers and a bathrobe makes the structure comfortable and dedicated to guests' relaxation. We used it as the basis for the visit the Val D'Orcia, which is just a stone's throw away, given that Chianciano itself doesn't offer much, apart from the Theia spa. I have read many negative reviews about the structure, I honestly didn't understand them, for those looking for a trendy or recently furnished or built 4-star hotel this hotel is probably not the right one; but for those looking for an excellent level of service and a relaxing weekend at the spa this property cannot disappoint! A big thank you to the manager who pampered us and to our waiters, all excellent in their service. Highly recommended!

My wife and I spent 2 nights in this hotel and I honestly don't think we will return. Apart from the fact that Chianciano is unfortunately a town in strong decline but the hotel also reflects the place a bit, the room honestly wasn't that great and the walls are absolutely not soundproofed, the staff on the contrary was very kind and helpful. The spa was nothing special, unfortunately the Turkish bath was not available as it was probably broken, the rest is the usual wellness centre, in the first thermal pool (there are 2) we had an incredible encounter, but it's better not to say it. The breakfast was good and plentiful. Ultimately, for the fairly high price paid, we expected better.

very nice structure located in the center of Chianciano, a stone's throw from the Theia thermal pools. You can take advantage of the convenience of reserved parking. The hotel also offers the possibility of using an internal spa equipped with a relaxation area, sauna, swimming pool with waterfall and hydromassage, emotional showers and a truly unique gem: an additional swimming pool with hydromassage open until 1am. During the spa journey, guests can enjoy an excellent aperitif in the internal bar, moving around calmly in their bathrobe. The spa kit is included in the price of the room, where you are entitled to unlimited spa access. It is possible to have meals in the internal restaurant which offers excellent Tuscan cuisine. We tried fettuccine with meat sauce and tagliatelle, accompanied by grilled vegetables and French fries. The presentation of the dishes is very accurate and the service from the waitress was impeccable. A positive note is added to the reception of the dinner with two welcome flutes offered by the house. The only flaw is that the prices in the catering sector are a little high compared to average. Overall the staff is super friendly and friendly with guests. Highly recommended experience.

Il Grand Hotel di Riolo Terme ci ha conquistati! Le stanze sono pulite, ordinate e dotate di ogni comfort, ideali per un soggiorno piacevole e rilassante. Gli spazi comuni sono molto raffinati ed eleganti, con un’atmosfera che invita a prendersi una pausa dal ritmo quotidiano. Uno dei momenti più belli è stato ascoltare il suono del pianoforte che riempiva questi ambienti così curati, aggiungendo un tocco di magia al nostro soggiorno. Il ristorante, poi, è davvero ottimo, con piatti deliziosi. Abbiamo apprezzato la posizione, è perfetta! le terme sono a due passi, rendendo tutto ancora più comodo. È un luogo che consigliamo a chi cerca relax, eleganza e un po’ di tempo per sé!
