Grand Hotel Terme In Riolo terme

We returned after some time, and unfortunately, something has changed. The quality of the services has halved. Where the hotel bar used to offer aperitifs, there's now a self-service bar that few people care to use, and it's sometimes poorly stocked. The rooms and the building are starting to need maintenance. The rooms are clean, but don't expect sheets to be changed; in my opinion, they're understaffed for this type of building. The hotel restaurant isn't bad, but even there, it's understaffed. In short, it would still have all the right credentials if it weren't for all the cuts. And considering that the price paid is for all the services listed, something needs to be reconsidered on the website itself. OH OH, YOU COME TO TUSCANY FOR MORE THAN JUST THE STAY, AND THE LANDSCAPE JUST A FEW KM AWAY IS BREATHTAKING.

We've been guests several times, but now with the change of management, we've been very disappointed. The rooms are always somewhere between renovated and dilapidated, breakfast no longer has items like cappuccino and espresso like last time, and half-board doesn't include dessert... NO COMMENT... the pool closes at 10:30 a.m. and before that at 1:00 a.m., and that was precisely the reason we chose this hotel—the ability to enjoy the heated pool at least until midnight. We won't be returning. Please at least correct the website with the incorrect information, thank you.

I can't understand those people who left a negative review! You're crazy! A truly lovely place. Clean and tidy rooms. Excellent staff. Excellent food. Very well-maintained and cared for spa. There are some improvements that could be made, but overall I'd say I'm super satisfied. Oh, I forgot!!!! We came with our dog and they had no problems ❤️

The hotel, like the entire town, has certainly seen better days, but it retains its Italian charm. Excellent value for money, the spa is quite large and functional, the breakfast is good and plentiful, the beds are comfortable, and they also accept dogs for a small fee. I always stay there when I'm in the area, and the staff is very friendly. I deserve a 5-star rating.

I was quite biased by the negative reviews I'd read. Our experience, however, was very good for a two-night weekend as a base for exploring the Val d'Orcia. The hotel is dated, but our room was spacious and very warm. The bathroom was also spacious, with all the necessary amenities and a comfortable shower. Breakfast was generous. The spa was nothing to write home about, consisting of two pools with hydromassage, a sauna, and a Turkish bath.

Wonderful experience that we will repeat excellent welcome service at the reception, clean spacious room very warm with all comforts, perfect bathroom also comfortable beds with two pillows per person provided, soundproofed and still quiet hotel, welcoming spa with various hot herbal teas .. excellent breakfast with a lot of variety between sweet and savory in abundance also the restaurant service used in the evening to not go out was of excellent quality in short we will really be back compliments to the staff always ready and current to our needs thank you for everything

Lack of heat rooms of cold environment

Hotel in need of renovation. 3 saunas and 1 Turkish bath, sensory showers, a herbal tea room, and a relaxation room. Two pools, one large currently being renovated (unfortunately, we weren't able to use it) and a smaller one with several hydromassage areas. Children are welcome (a must-have for families, as they aren't allowed in almost any indoor spa) from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. The breakfast is good, including savory options, and there's a wide selection of sweet options, including various cakes, tarts, croissants, cream-filled bombettes, and donuts. Free indoor parking.

The structure is a bit dated and not very well maintained.

Beautiful hotel, we stayed for three days, very kind staff, excellent breakfast, the peaceful spa, a truly beautiful place, we will gladly return.
