Grand Hotel Terme In Riolo terme

My wife and I spent 2 nights in this hotel and I honestly don't think we will return. Apart from the fact that Chianciano is unfortunately a town in strong decline but the hotel also reflects the place a bit, the room honestly wasn't that great and the walls are absolutely not soundproofed, the staff on the contrary was very kind and helpful. The spa was nothing special, unfortunately the Turkish bath was not available as it was probably broken, the rest is the usual wellness centre, in the first thermal pool (there are 2) we had an incredible encounter, but it's better not to say it. The breakfast was good and plentiful. Ultimately, for the fairly high price paid, we expected better.

very nice structure located in the center of Chianciano, a stone's throw from the Theia thermal pools. You can take advantage of the convenience of reserved parking. The hotel also offers the possibility of using an internal spa equipped with a relaxation area, sauna, swimming pool with waterfall and hydromassage, emotional showers and a truly unique gem: an additional swimming pool with hydromassage open until 1am. During the spa journey, guests can enjoy an excellent aperitif in the internal bar, moving around calmly in their bathrobe. The spa kit is included in the price of the room, where you are entitled to unlimited spa access. It is possible to have meals in the internal restaurant which offers excellent Tuscan cuisine. We tried fettuccine with meat sauce and tagliatelle, accompanied by grilled vegetables and French fries. The presentation of the dishes is very accurate and the service from the waitress was impeccable. A positive note is added to the reception of the dinner with two welcome flutes offered by the house. The only flaw is that the prices in the catering sector are a little high compared to average. Overall the staff is super friendly and friendly with guests. Highly recommended experience.

Pleasant stay, but definitely not 4 star. The only flaw of this place is really the maintenance which is not there. Unfortunately, being a very old building, but like all the hotels around, it could be much more pleasant if there were annual maintenance. Painting, removing the carpet, fixing the ceiling panels, changing the curtains, the spa chairs. Nothing sensational, I don't think it's necessary to renovate it from top to bottom, a minimal investment would be enough. However, I must say that we ate very well, that it was spotless and hot. The only really unacceptable thing were the really worn spa bathrobes... you don't need much for those. I think the place can be greatly improved.

My partner and I stayed two nights at this property. The structure appears very dated, missing ceiling lights on the chandeliers along the stairs, torn curtains and peeling walls. The spa has 3 saunas, a Turkish bath, chromotherapy, ice jet and 2 swimming pools. It would be very nice if they would do renovation and revaluation work. The structure is very large but left a little abandoned.. unkept garden. The drain in the room's bathroom was very noisy, the bidet was plugged in, pillows impossible to sleep on. Overall, I wouldn't go back now. I highly recommend maintenance work. Expensive price for the type of structure

Cute, needs a renovation, great spa and breakfast

My partner and I stayed in this hotel for two nights, taking advantage of the half board service and I must say that we had a very good time. The rooms are spacious and equipped with all comforts and the spa is also very nice and relaxing. Maybe the pools are a little small, but still comfortable. The spectacular restaurant service, truly excellent quality food and the waiters are all super friendly. We will definitely be back we had a great time we thank all the staff ♥️ Ilenia

Fantastic experience! The Grand Hotel Terme di Chianciano is the ideal place to relax. Spacious and clean rooms, excellent spa with thermal pools and kind and professional staff. Varied and quality breakfast. Absolutely recommended!

L'albergo è molto classico, accogliente e con una bellissima sala ristorante. La camera elite dove abbiamo alloggiato si trova in un edificio attiguo raggiungibile tramite un corridoio coperto ma riscaldato male, per cui nella stagione fredda è scomodo per gli spostamenti, ma era comunque grande e con letti comodi. La piscina termale è in convenzione con l'hotel e si trova a un centinaio di metri di distanza. Il servizio, sia alla reception che a cena, è stato molto disponibile e gentile e la cucina ottima. Colazione a buffet abbondante nella scelta, sia sul dolce che sul salato, con prodotti freschi. Se posso dare un consiglio: per chi sceglie la formula in mezza pensione e arriva nel pomeriggio, sarebbe meglio fornire orari più flessibili di accesso alla piscina termale, per evitare di obbligare gli ospiti ad accedere a cavallo della cena (prevista tra le 19.30 e le 20.30), quindi prima e dopo cena (noi siamo arrivati poco dopo le 16 in albergo e potevamo scegliere o di andare in piscina fino alle 18, oppure di andarci dopo le 18 e fino alle 22.30, ma ovviamente con la pancia piena e con un doppio cambio e una doppia asciugatura). Comunque struttura e servizi meritevoli, niente da dire.

Il Grand Hotel di Riolo Terme ci ha conquistati! Le stanze sono pulite, ordinate e dotate di ogni comfort, ideali per un soggiorno piacevole e rilassante. Gli spazi comuni sono molto raffinati ed eleganti, con un’atmosfera che invita a prendersi una pausa dal ritmo quotidiano. Uno dei momenti più belli è stato ascoltare il suono del pianoforte che riempiva questi ambienti così curati, aggiungendo un tocco di magia al nostro soggiorno. Il ristorante, poi, è davvero ottimo, con piatti deliziosi. Abbiamo apprezzato la posizione, è perfetta! le terme sono a due passi, rendendo tutto ancora più comodo. È un luogo che consigliamo a chi cerca relax, eleganza e un po’ di tempo per sé!
