Grand Hotel Majestic già Baglioni In Bologna

A majestic grand hotel in the very center of historic Bologna. We spent our honeymoon in this gem, and have been treated wonderfully by the hotel and its staff. The hotel is a museum in itself, with its hidden Roman road, the frescoes and the Christmas decoration they just started setting up. The rooms are 'old school' majestic, but the bathrooms are fully modern equipped. The concierge was able to recommend us several nice restaurants, and also were able to arrange an exceptional room-visit doctor! We had dinner in their fine-dining restaurant in which we were able to gaze upon the beautiful fresco at the ceiling. We loved their 'clair obscur' bean pasta dish, inspired by Italian masters. The breakfast was great, but above all their high-quality cappuccino was the best morning treatment to start our day in historic and foodie-heaven Bologna. Thank you!

Rooms are pretty outdated and need a substantial uprgrade at this price tag.

Wonderful. Quiet, comfortable rooms, really attentive and friendly staff. Comfy bar, adequate gym for our needs. Good advice for restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay
