A very beautiful, old palazzo with a fascinating history. The rooms are very clean and everything is well-maintained, although the bathrooms could be a bit more modern. The breakfast is colossal and very varied and plentiful, served in a beautiful vaulted room from ancient times. There are a few parking spaces in the lovely courtyard, but they cost an extra €10 per day. All in all, a great hotel in a central yet quiet location; we'll be back! :-)
A very charming hotel inside Palazzo Strassoldo and convenient for exploring the city center on foot.
The attic room is very unique, old-fashioned but well-maintained. I would have just avoided the bedspread, which you never know if it gets washed, and added electrical outlets near the bedside tables. The skylights, however, are well-powered and functional. The bathroom is large, but the room is a bit noisy only because it's right next to the elevator. Breakfast is very generous and well-presented.
The reception staff could be encouraged to provide some tourist information.
