Nice place and wide choice of pastries. However, the prices are two-fold of what you pay in Rome and the quality of food (a bit chewy meat in my pastry) and drink (cafe late rather cold) did not justify this. We did not check ratings before and hence ended up here.

Located in the square in front of the sanctuary, it has internal rooms and tables over the entire area in front of the square. The products are average but the prices are absolutely beyond any market logic. A coffee taken at the table costs €2.50 and a small bottle of water costs €3.50. There was definitely a miracle for them!

Typical Neapolitan pastas, at a particularly expensive price. It was good, but I think the price was a bit expensive. The staff were not particularly friendly, with a few exceptions. It is well located, right in front of the basilica, and the locals often go there for dessert

Located in a very central area of ​​Pompeii, the Bar Santuario has been an inevitable stop for 30 years. It's always a good opportunity to enjoy the best pastry and pastry I've ever tried. Excellent coffee with a hot cup. Courteous and professional staff.

I tasted a babá and a coffee sitting at the external tables just below the Sanctuary. Excellent location as well as the desserts and coffee. I recommend it.

Very friendly staff, and amazing pastries! We stopped for some sweets, walked around Pompeii, then returned for more! Great selection and very good pricing!

Il Caffè di Toraldo

30/09/2024: Pasé por Caffe Toraldo antes de mi recorrido subterráneo en Nápoles y tuve sentimientos encontrados sobre mi experiencia. La cafetería es bastante pequeña, lo que le da un ambiente acogedor, pero también crea un ambiente lleno de gente. Pedí un capuchino para una selección rápida - yo - y una pizza doblada. Si bien el capuchino era decente y me dio el impulso que necesitaba, la pizza doblada realmente me decepcionó. Se sirvió frío, y esperaba que se calentara, lo que fue una gran decepción. En general, la experiencia estaba bien. La cafetería tiene potencial, pero te recomiendo que te limites a las bebidas si buscas un bocado rápido.
17/08/2024: Consiglio vivamente, gelati buonissi, caffè e anche onesti abbiamo ricevuto il rimborso per un piccolo disguido.. Saluti
