Ice cream like it used to be made...very good

I stopped by in the afternoon a few days ago to cool off a bit in the sudden heat of these days and I had a very pleasant surprise in the quality and freshness of the ice creams. In particular I was struck by the pistachio ice cream, my daughter's favorite. Tasty, creamy, fresh without being cloying, in fact.... a real delight! I know that little by little I will try them all. Nice place, very clean and well organized and very kind and helpful staff. In particular I want to point out the professionalism, courtesy and sweetness of the blonde girl with her long hair tied up, ready and precise!

I have been a loyal customer since there was only the ice cream shop, which for me was the best in the area. Compliments to the owner Gerlando, a true excellent pastry chef, who together with his wife Federica, expanded the business at the beginning of 2025, after also purchasing the adjacent premises. The result is a large and welcoming pastry shop-cafe, which in addition to excellent ice cream, also offers truly exquisite cakes, pastries and croissants. A special mention also goes to the employees who are very kind and good!

Lots of choice of flavors and excellent ice cream even for those who are lactose intolerant....to try!!!!

We were on the way, and "hidden" behind the roundabout, this pastry shop was a great surprise. Buttery and delicious brioches! Also tasted a slice of pastiera, phenomenal! External terrace to enjoy the fabulous sweet reeds outdoors. The coffee is also good, and that's not to be taken for granted!!!

Honestly, I find it really difficult not to be amazed by this ice cream shop. I have been frequenting it for 15 years now, both under the previous and current management, and the level has always been and continues to be excellent. It is not true, as we sometimes read, that there is little choice in flavours: great classics, such as ugly and good, fiordilatte, hazelnut, pistachio are alternated with more particular flavours, such as trifle and Sicilian cassata. Furthermore, there are seasonal flavors in rotation: today, for example, I tasted eggnog with strawberries and it was delicious. The prices are high, especially after the recent renovation, but they are justified by the very high quality of the products. It is no coincidence that, despite the "high" prices, there is a queue every day.
