You can buy ice cream by the liter, it's really delicious. I also really enjoyed the coffee. The service is very pleasant and generous.

Our first stop every time we come to Niscemi. Delicious ice cream, the pistachio ice cream is at least as good or even better than the one from Bronte and, along with the Gelateria Lucchese bar in Palermo, my favorite ice cream parlors in Sicily. They also serve pizza and snacks. The last time we were there (on a Sunday), they didn't have any arrancini; perhaps they're only available on certain days of the week. The café is a bit outside the center, so it's easy to park right in front. They used to have a larger covered outdoor seating area (tent), but that's no longer there, but you can still sit inside or outside. Sometimes the senior manager is still behind the counter. The toilets are of the generally prevailing standard in Sicily.
