Gran Caffe Dante In Napoli

20/10/2025: This is, by far, our favorite place in Marina Grande. The family history of this restaurant is evident, and the food is the best we have had. Fresh seafood, lively Italian atmosphere, and every seat is a beautiful view of the Marina. We have been here 3 times for either espresso, wine, dinner, pizza, or desserts, and we plan on coming back as many times as we can during our trip. The sisters who run the restaurant add to the beautiful charm of sorrento and there’s truly nothing better. We will be telling everyone about this restaurant!!!

13/10/2025: A friend of ours told us there was a bonkers restaurant in the Marina Grande. We were not looking for lunch, but you cannot refuse these women and end up almost escorted to a table in case you escaped. It was hilarious watching the sisters with other guests. Don’t be shy, expect to be bounced into an order ( maybe even told what you should drink), and enjoy their abruptness as they don’t know it can be rude. I had mussels and sea bass, which came together, and my wife had salad and sardines. My food was amazing, the sardines were average. I plucked up the courage to tell one of the sisters that the bread was stale. She explained it was because it was the first loaf to go in the oven, no apology or exchange offered. But you must try this place once at least, relax and enjoy it ( what can be better than sat in the sun by the marina?)
